Best Bike Suzuki produced in the 80s - 1982 GS1100E
Seen on mcreports.com:
" In 1982 the GS1100E was liberated from its role of all-around motorcycle.
Admittedly it was an awesome machine, and king of the dragstrip, but it was
happy in many roles. With the introduction of the GS1100G, the 'E' model
could really let loose and go for gold. The engine was breathed on and the
styling changed to be reminiscent of the early-80's Katana's, combining
spedd with function and styling. Power in 1982 was 108bhp@8500rpm, with
torque of 67.6@6500. Wet weight was 549lb's. "

round, marking the first time a V-Twin Top Fuel Nitro burner would face off
against an import Top Fuel Nitro Methane injected drag bike.
GS1100E - 10.69 Quarter mile run
Heres me on my 1982 GS1100E
Stock Wheelbase and a street tire
First weekend on the bike, I got put up against this crank shop because of
my crappy qualifier run, and he beat me but hey, it was my first weekend I
was happy to make this good run.
Kawasaki Triple Dragbike - Super Eliminator

Kawasaki H2 and H1 triples, Suzuki GT 750 Water Buffalos, a Polaris
Starfire powered dragbike, Yamaha RD 350's and 400's and could have a
Suzuki 500 twin racing this year. Photos 1 and 3 at the end are courtesy of

May 9, 2010 Alaska Raceway Park
This is the 3rd shakedown run of the Mike Pederson owned 750cc Kawasaki
H2 Triple dragbike ridden by legendary dragracer Squeaks O'Connor. Squeaks
dusted off the old mothballs and emerged from retirement to help get the
bike sorted out for Mike, who is planning to ride the bike soon.
Overall the bike ran great and the motor pulled stong, but the final
gearing was way short of what it needs to be. It ran out of gearing just
past the 1/8 mile. New gearing will definitely lower E.T. and raise trap
speeds. This run was 11.06 @ 120 mph. His next and final run was around
10.6, maybe 10.70. (clocks didn't work).
Overall, a great day!
WRR24: Riding the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14r
This will probably remain as one of the fastest bikes ridden for Weekly
Rides with Reuben for some time... With close to 200hp at the rear wheel,
the ZX-14r accelerates with a force unlike no other. It really is like
having a rocket propel you, and propel you, and propel you... it just keeps
going until you back off. Please be sure to rate, comment, and subscribe,
and don't forget that Weekly Rides with Reuben are uploaded every
Gear used in this video:
