2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 426 Hemi Stroker HoP Racing CMR Dyno
My car has the first 426 Hemi in the world, built by inertia
motorsports...but it has never been properly tuned. This was the first
rough pulls on the car as it was finally getting some Diablo CMR tuning
love. There were very good gains made by the end of the day. HoP Racing in
Huntington Beach, Ca. did an awesome job on getting my car's drivablity and
power closer to where they need to be.

430hp wore out tires with four new tires at shop....we figured there was a
little smoke left in the old ones!
3.5 L Chrysler V6 Spark Plug Change (Magnum, Charger, Challenger)
How I changed spark plugs on a 3.5 L V6 non-transverse mounted Chrysler
engine in a SXT Magnum.
I don't usually work on Chrysler products, excuse my ignorance about how to
do this from the start. I usually work on Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus
products and am much, much more familiar with them.
Tools I needed (used):
15 mm open end wrench
Spark plug socket
Needle Nose Pliers
10mm open end/box end wrench
10mm deep well socket
Flat head screwdriver (common end)
Spark Plugs (NGK OEM Laser Platinum)
Feel free to ask questions or comment. I didn't call the dealership to
find out how much they would have charged. I paid $5.66 x 6 for the NGK
Plugs and a few dollars for anti-seize so it was just under $40.

Twin Turbo Hemi Dodge Magnum RT on Dyno @ Big 3 Racing
2005 Dodge Magnum RT With a 392 stroker and a Big 3 Racing turbo kit, had a bad transmission during pull, as
soon as it hit 5000 RPM it would kick out of gear. The graph was steadly
increasing and hit 670 whp and 689 wtq, and still had another 1500 RPM
atleast. Still need to tune for race gas so we can see some big power

The Magnum SRT-8 is powered by a 6.1l Hemi V8 bumping out 425 hp.
Stopping is brought courtesy of 14" Brembo brakes encased in 20" forged
aluminum wheels that are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. All
of this, and the Magnum SRT-8 allows for 71 cubic feet of storing space,
making it the most performance oriented grocery cart in the world.

A Precision Motorsports performance package that has Ported, Polished and
Coated heads (Chambers/valves/entire head coated) POWER-3 N/A custom
camshaft, Coated Kooks headers, Magnaflow cat-back and our Ported, polished
and Coated Intake manifold (Top with dispersant, bottom with heat barrier).
He also opted for a little "shot" just in case the competition needed it,
which gave him the 513 RWHP/576 RWTQ. Installed and Custom Dyno tuned as well.

This was the 1st time I had a change to get my car to the Drag Strip
since SEMA and even though it was still running really rich I think the day
was helpful. I started out really careful and ran a 12.9 on 6 PSI and when
I went to 10 PSI I ran a 11.9. From there I removed the filter and got
12-13 PSI and ran a 11.8.... now just need more datalogging and fine tuning
so I can switch to my 18 PSI pulley.
