Update: It was the diff. It has a 15" long crack in it, problem solved.
My buddys 92 SVX. It's got 180k on the original engine and maybe original tranny. Engine runs like a dream, can't say so much for the transmission/differential. Some people say it might be an axle, this video is for them as I am not a Subaru guy.

Here is a very rare 1994 Subaru SVX that will soon be crushed under the Cars for Clunkers Program. These All-Wheel Drive cars from the early 90's are pretty rare. Its been years since I seen one on the road.

The silver 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L, driven by Tom of All We'll Drive, makes another SVX 1/4 mile record at 12.99 at 106mph! This is the first track day since the install of the Hydra Nemesis Standalone EMS. He is also running with a 6 speed STi transmission conversion and a Whipple blower on a stock motor with high mileage... on street tires!
Vanagon SVX Faster Pull (Straight piped exhaust)
Here is the faster of the 2 pulls with the open Exhaust. I have decided to go with a 3 chamber flowmaster and will install that this weekend. This is an EG33 swapped in using smallcar's bellhousing kit. Power transmission is smooth and with the ecu chip this thing flies!
