We put our money down to find out! www.stupidfastrc.com.au Vote for HAYLEY on the CHIKO Chick CONTEST here http://www.chiko.com.au/chikochickvoting/vote/1507 When I did the math it looked like the XO-1 could do the quarter mile (433m) in 12 seconds and the ute does it in 11.5seconds so it looked on paper at least like a reasonable race. However on the day the track compound was a week old and was shiny and slippery at the start line. It was due to be resurfaced hours from when we made our video. What do they say about best laid plans? We would have even settled for a result over a half the track! So anyway this is all we got. Despite all that for a split second it looked as if the Traxxas was capable of taking the lead in the first 100 meters. We haven't ruled out doing this again, maybe Traxass could post us some different tires! :)
