WHAT A BRAND NEW 1969 PONTIAC GTO (ALMOST) LOOKS LIKE
THIS IS A SPECTACULAR RESTORATION OF A '69 GTO. IF YOU WENT TO A PONTIAC
DEALER BACK IN '69 TO BUY A GTO THIS IS WHAT IT MOSTLY WOULD LOOK LIKE.
THERE ARE SOME MODIFICATIONS LIKE THE CHROME RADIATOR SHROUD, ENGINE, AND
OTHER FEATURES BUT MOST EVERY DETAIL IS LIKE NEW, FROM THE ENGINE
COMPARTMENT, UNDERNEATH AS SEEN REFLECTED IN MIRRORS, THE INTERIOR IS
PERFECT, AND ALSO THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT. IN 1969 MODEL 242, TEMPEST GTO'S
CAME IN TWO MODELS: HARDTOP COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE COUPE. BOTH MODELS HAD
A 112 INCH WHEELBASE WITH 64,851 COUPES MADE, AND 7,436 CONVERTIBLES
PRODUCED. COUPES WERE PRICED AT $3,156 AND RAGTOPS PRICED AT $3,382.
ENGINES WERE V8 400 CID, 4.12 X 3.75 BORE AND STROKE WITH 2 VERSIONS: 366
BHP AND 370 BHP. FOR ALL PONTIAC MODELS THERE WERE 13 ENGINE VARIANTS
AVAILABLE. THIS IS PART OF PONTIAC'S HERITAGE THEN, DIFFERENT SIZE MUSCLE
FOR DIFFERENT SIZE PONTIACS. BUT CHECK THIS JEWEL OUT. THIS IS A ONE OF A
KIND RESTORATION OF A SELDOM SEEN GTO. SO BACK IN '69 WHEN YOU WENT TO THE
PONTIAC DEALER TO BUY A GTO, THIS IS MOSTLY WHAT THE SALESMAN WOULD HAVE
SHOWN YOU. A BRAND NEW OPTIC ORANGE DREAM CAR WITH THE BLACK VINYL

1968 Pontiac Lemans project
I traded my red 1961 F100 for this car in December. I liked the truck but
it was so difficult to drive. No power steering, brakes, or A/C. So here I
have a very cool cruiser. Leaving it mostly stock, no loud mufflers or go
fast bolt ons except for the HEI ignition and Edelbrock intake and

the changes being made. Since the last video i have added foose wheels, BF
tires, edelbrock 750 electric choke, edelbrock rpm performer intake, all
new hoses in engine bay, k/n extreme air filter, took off the wing and
added allot of mis. other items.

sports a wicked Pontiac 406ci V-8 Engine that kicks out an impressive
330HP. A Numbers matching very very rare 3:55 gear "N"case 4 pinion posi
rear end. And so much more fun stuff I get the chills just thinking about
all that high performance fun.
This great GTO was featured in Car Craft magazine in 2003 (Dyno Proven engine combos). At
that time it was Dyno'd at 313HP with 362lb-ft.
Since then it has been fine tuned to even better performance.
