Just put my cam on my mk2 gti. 276 schrick, w\ tt race header straight to a
borla muffler. Idle at around 850 rpm's
VW Golf MKIII 2.0 ABA w/ TT Cam, Chip and Magnaflow Exhaust
VW Golf MKIII, 2.0 8v ABA 5spd. TT 266 (270) Cam, TT Cam Chip, VR6
injectors, Custom Ported TB, Magnaflow cat-back Exhaust and BFI .5 stage mounts. This is a cold
start with a couple rev's. The car's chip doesn't settle the rev's until
about 30 seconds of running so there is a pretty nice lope to the engine
during this time. The cat's shield is loose, that's what you hear rattling.

12.1 Mile run. 35 degrees outside. Kumho Ecsta AST's 195/50/15. Not the
best tires, but its winter and they are better in the cold. Not even close
to the limit even with those tires.
1997 VW jetta 8 valve OBD1 motor and head. 260 cam, ported intake manifolds
and TB, velocity stack for this run, 8LB flywheel, 16V clutch and pressure
plate, Full SS Exhaust, High flow cat,
TT downpipe, MK4 Manifold. Koni Yellows, FK springs, Poly bushings all
around, G60 HD strut mounts, Neuspeed 28 mm RSB Neuspeed 25mm FSB, upper
strut brace, rear upper strut brace, WRD lower front strut brace, Corrado
G60 11.1" Front brakes, Powerslot Cryo treated rotors all around, SS Brake
lines, Hawk HPS Pads all around.
VW mk3 8v golf: drivetrain upgrade
Wassup fellas, I was too lazzy to put text on video this time!
My buddy Nate from Vdub, monster mechanic, installed my new OEM clutch, BFI
LW flywheel, BFI stage .5 mounts, new axles, royal puple fluid, and replace
the input shaft seal which is why the inside of the tranny is oily, which
had me slipping.
The footage at end was from my iPhone 4 so still pretty good quality.
I'm breaking the clutch in now, by the time that's time maybe i'll have an
intake and drilled rotors!
Mk2 8v ABA Head swap w/dual valve springs:
- 4 Angle valve job
- Port and Polish job
- Milled and deck: little higher than 10:1
- Resurfaced and High Temp. Coated all around
AUTOTEC 270 cam
SPA turbo: adjustable cam gear: set at 0
ARP Head studs: non-undercut
VICTOR REINZ: MLS metal head gasket and gasket kit
BLACKFORESTINDUSTRIES: STage 2 PEM chip: for 270 cam
TECHTONICS: 2" INCH RACE downpipe: it deletes the cat
