After crossing the creek, you had to pull a nasty ledge on the other side. Crossing it earlier in the day was no problem, but by the end of the day, only trucks with a long wheelbase stood a chance pulling the hole. Unfortunately, Josh made a HARD pull on the ledge, snapped a couple of blocks in the rear and rolled the rear axle. Being deep on the woods, it was a nightmare trying to retrieve his rig... FORD CRUMBLES IN PATH OF BIG BLOCK CHEVY!!
http://www.triplexmotorsports.com On the first hole of the day at Louisiana Mudfest, Brian Briggs (TheMudbogger79) showers down on that skinny. Unfortunately there was another truck stuck in the path of his roost. While trying to move out of the way, the entire 4-link setup completely cratered when the driver spooled up and dumped the clutch. The aftermath wasn't pretty. Too bad it was the first day! Rules were a bit convoluted...first truck to pull the hole wins $500. Most of the trucks eventually floated it full length, but Josh wanted to put on an exhibition run just for fun. It was easily one of the best shows in the pit all weekend! Truck is running strong since the recent cam install and head work. Oil was added and he rode the rest of the day with no problems! WATCH THE MIDDLE LANE @ THE LIGHT!!!!! "The Brick"- otherwise known the old skool volvo sleeper-esque station wagon looking thing. A favorite for enthusiasts given the potential for power as seen in this example. The show and go got stopped by Ocean Citys(MD) finest as he was displaying his wares. Limiter hits hard as wastegate to atmosphere is ridiculously loud. Props to this awesome sleeper!!!!!
