Killed the Big16g and it was all my fault. A clamp wasn't bolted on straight and it died an early death. New Big16g replacement has been installed for now. Car still runs low 12's.

If you are buying a turbo to replace a worn or broken one it is recommended to investigate the reason for the original fault and rectify before fitting the new turbo, often problems are from oil starvation and as such a new oil feed pipe is often recommended Or if a turbo blows seals at high pressure it can often fill the Exhaust with oil and or water, blocking the catalytic converter This is just a few of the main problems from a worn out turbo, for this reason we do recommend the replacement be fitted by a turbo specialist!

Renault Laguna blown turbo
This was my Laguna 02,
Whilst driving pretty fast on a motorway it suddenly lost over a half of its power. I pulled over to see what was it but found nothing. I wanted to continue to drive as I had a date but when I started the engine the rev counter hand went all the way up and the engine obviously was making a lot of noise. I wanted to stop the engine pressing the button but it wouldn't work then I saw a lot of smoke that made me scared :) I ripped out the access card to stop the engine but surprisingly it wouldn't work either and after a minute or so of trying I hit the idea to stall it on 1st gear with with the brakes on - thankfully it worked out. I found myself up in the smoke in the middle of motor way and a couple of minutes later the fire brigade was with me but there was nothing to put out.
Called AA to get it of the motorway and that was the very last straw, never ever Renault again, sold it for parts! didn't get on the date and don't think the bird believed my story :)
