1970 Turbo Baja Bug
First prolonged fire up of my new turbo motor, fresh Exhaust paint smoking at the end. Just got to figure out an accelerator cable return spring that works.
The rattling was my new starter motor... pulled it and the ring round the shaft that stops the throwout gear on there has gone bang and left a collar rattling arund on the shaft, slapping the flywheel etc... goodtimes! Sorted though. ahhhh...
Garrett T2 sucking on a Dellorto 40, glorious sound! The neighbours looks were fairly piercing so please, enjoy! :-)
Chevy Vega engine Turbocharged
This is a schnieder cammed,ported Vega engine on 12 PSI Boost. It uses a Corvair Corsa turbo in a "draw through" design.
The rubber hose you see expanding and contracting is just a radiator hose we used to fire it up. That is being replaced with hard tubing.
The nasty idle is the cam..I am going to have to run it at about 1000 rmp idle.

1971 Datsun 510 2 door. Lots of thanks to James Minifield of Krazzy RPM, Hesperia California One of the cleanest rotary shop I know. My Pare Arnel Ilog, Rommel Bigasin and Jerry Acdan for finally getting my 510 done!!! My son Christian for editing this video. Lee my youngest who loves cruising in the 510.
