1975 Plymouth Duster parted out and scrapped, meet it's replacement
Here is the new A-body.
I struggled with this decision for a long time. I don't like scrapping
cars, but when this one came up on eBay, my decision was made. I HAD to win
1973 Dodge Dart Sport.318 V8, torqueflite, 8-1/4 rear, power disc brakes,
power steering, air conditioning, bucket seats with console shifter, FE5
Bright Red. Plus full set of original Rallye wheels.
Most importantly, this one has none of the rot issues the other one had.
It's from dry Texas so the floors, trunk, everything else is great. No
vinyl top either.
The engine is blown so it'll get the 318/A904 salvaged from the other car
after I replace the valve seals and add the 4bbl carb and intake :-)
My brother also has a '73 Dart Sport except his is yellow w/black interior
and a 4spd.

Cold start old start Ford flathead V8 scraprod update #7
Just a little update on the rod. I wanted to see how she'd start in the
cold also, It got down to about 8 degrees lastnight, not real cold but cold
enough. As you can hear she poped right off no problem. I was happy with
1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 cold start.
Firing up the '67 oldsmobile after sitting for a few weeks. The Temp was
about 10 degrees. It has a 425 V8. the car is an all original michigan
car. the only thing that's new are the ingition system (spark plugs, wires
etc) and tires. There is some rust on the negative battery terminal which
was the cause of the car not starting at first. I still have to fix it . .
. when it's warmer outside.
1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL (attempt to start with blown engine)
This was actually filmed in January of 2010. This was my car from 2005 -
2007 and then my brother took it after I got my Aztek. When I first got it,
the intake gasket on the 3.4 Liter V6 started leaking, so I had it fixed as
soon as I could. Come to find out sometime in the summer of 2009 that it
started leaking again because the person who did it the first time didn't
fix it properly. My brother had it fixed for the second time, but it must
have been too late. On Dec. 26, 2009, it was toast. The camshaft on the
front half of the engine broke which caused a valve to be stuck open, thus
the piston came up and jammed that valve.
1997 Buick Riviera
Here is the new car. Ive had it for a month now. The car is in real good
shape. I miss my wagon but at some point you have to say "when". While i
love lots of other makes and models of cars,I missed buick and its my most
favorite car company. I have had 4 other buicks and will continue buying
more. Enjoy and please rate.
Clean 1995 Buick Riviera
Showing my Riviera and what I've done to it so far. I'm not planning on
getting too crazy with it, probably some chrome 20" 100 spoke wire wheels
and probably replace the interior lights with some green LED's.
7.3 PowerStroke -19ºF Cold Start Attempt
-19 F cold start attempt without the block heater on a 1999 7.3. Arrived at
the hotel late, and could not get a cord from maintenance to plug it in.
After many minutes of trying, we got a cord and plugged it in while we were
at the dirt bike ice race throughout the day. Batteries or starter never
died, which was impressive.
