Hot Wheels Motorcycles. Now With Riders!
I picked them up in July, 2012 and they were under $3 USD each. Do you
collect motorcycles? Which ones will you be looking for? It is pretty cool
that Hot Wheels finally put riders on their 1:64 scale basic Hot Wheels
motorcycles! I don't particularly collect bikes but I like having something
from each release for my collection. I mentioned my son's Wall of Hot
Wheels. You can see that video here:
For this first batch, they used the Fright Bike, OCC Splitback, Dodge
Tomahawk, Ducati 1098R, and the HW450F (also known as Wastelander). That is
three licensed models and two fantasy creation.
Mattel has other motorcycles in their tool bank. I wonder if any of these
would be used in the future?
Fantasy models: Airy 8, Scorchin' Scooter, Blast Lane, Bad Bagger, Pit
Cruiser, W-oozie, Canyon Carver, Hammer Sled, and the Boss Hoss.
Realistic models: Harley Davidson Fat
In case you're wondering if there are any three-wheelers in the basics,
these come to mimnd: Tri & Stop Me and Outsider. Personally, I don't
consider the Outsider to be a bike but the Tri & Stop Me would be pretty
cool to have a rider =)
Flinstones Flintmobile 2013 and 1994 Color Shifter From Hot Wheels
The 2013 New Models Flintstones Flintmobile isn't Fred's first go-round
with Hot Wheels. There was a promotional 1994 Color Changer as well. In
this video, I take a look at both models as well as the color changing
effect of the 1994 version as well as a modern Color Shifter.
What Should I Collect?
I often get this question from viewers. They ask ME what do I think that
THEY should collect. My response will always be, 'buy what you like". This
way, if you liked it when you bought it, they you will be happier with your
Ferrari 5-pack, It's Ferrari Show Time!
Thumbs up for Ferrari! Before I forget, I miss-spoke and said that the
Speed Machines line was a Toys R Us exclusive. The Speed Machines were
available at many retailers but Toys R US took the last assortments, as far
as I know. The Ferrari 5-packs were Toys R US exclusives for a couple
I either acquired the models with the Co-Mold wheels from the Speed
Machines assortments or the Ferrari Singles that were sold at Toys R US. I
don't really keep track.
In the Ferrari Gift Pack, One of the still has a metal body, metal base.
Two of the models got Black Wall tires!

Matchbox Models For Future Customs
I have no idea why I said "This Matchbox Playset" LOL! I talk about picking
up multiples of models for customs. The models in this 5-pack are the
London Taxi, '62 VW Beetle, 1961 Jaguar E-Type Coupe, Land Rover Ninety,
and the VW Panel Van (Transporter). I also show my Race Grooves
