FG Dragster - Mopar Paint
I'm working on my next project, another largescale onroad car. It's an FG Sportsline 2WD 530. This car is going to be turned into a 1970 Dodge Challenger with classic paint.
I'm waiting for my electronics and the big horsepower engine to arrive. In the meantime I give the body a coat of paint. The paintjob is inspired by Roy Johnson's 1970 Dodge Challenger. This iconic vehicle was replicated, in a modern version in 2010, when his son Allen gave him a 2010 Dodge Challenger with a full Mopar Drag Pak trim. I decided to switch the colours on this paintscheme, but use the modern 2013 Mopar colours. The gunmetal, the blue and the white work well with all the original lines, and gives the FG a nice, murdered out look.
This build is going to have a ton of special features, a few of them rather unique, and I will take you through the whole build process step by step so if you want to, you can follow along. Make sure to subscribe to see what the 2WD will turn into, so far I can reveal this much: it will pach a true punch, will represent an icon of it's era, and will be unlike any RC you have ever seen before!
