Here is the buick 462 thats going in a 73 buick apollo. 73 455 block bored
.30 over, speed pro .30 over hypereutectic pistons with 4 valve reliefs and
coated skirts, about 9.5 to 1 comp. ta 310 cam, stock 73 heads slightly
milled with stock valves, new springs and bowl ported. Crank and rods are

1973 Buick Apollo
1973 Buick apollo thats gonna get an olds 462 that was going into my 75
olds omega. The olds is now sold so I guess this will be my new street car
project. Its a rolling chassis now but the body is solid and rust free.

Rick's mother bought the car when it was near new and parked it when the
transmission failed in 1978. In 2011, the guys spent two and a half days
wrenching on the car, with the hopes of driving it home from Phoenix to Los

1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been
abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel
& Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in
conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead
with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1,
with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two,
loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011
issue of HOT ROD Magazine.
Bad-Ass Buick: 1955 Special - /BIG MUSCLE

In stock form, the 1955 Buick Special could best be described as a "nice"
car. It's not drop dead gorgeous like a 1959 Impala, nor does it have the
panache of say a 1956 Chrysler 300. You see the '55 Buick Special was a
working mans car. It had room enough for the whole family, a decent
power-plant thanks to its 264 cubic inch V8, and style that was, well...
above average. Harry Fisher or "Uncle Harry" as most people know him, saw
the old Buick a bit differently though. He knew that with a few little
touches (like a 502 cubic inch big-block, modern suspension, and a new set
of wheels) that this old Buick had the potential to become one of the
baddest hot-rods around.

Buick - History Documentary (1995)
This video is a wonderfully-done documentary, written and produced by
Michael Rose, on the history of Buick as presented in 1995 from the History
Channel's archive. Here is Michael's description of the video verbatim:
"No one would have believed that the tinkering of a plumber would turn into
the foundation of the world's largest corporation. But it did. David Dunbar
Buick invented a process to adhere porcelain to tubs and other bathroom
fixtures. But the Scottish immigrant dreamed of making a mark out of the
bathroom, and set to work building a car. By 1900, he enlisted the aid of
another inventor, Walter Marr, and they built their first vehicle. Their
invention attracted the attention of one of Michigan's wealthiest men,
William Crapo Durant, the president of the world's largest buggy-building
business. As soon as he drove one of Buick's early creations, Durant
realized that the days of the horse and buggy were over. He teamed up with
Buick, and the two went on to make history. By the thirties, Buicks were
regarded as some of the finest cars ever made. From the first Buicks
through the birth of General Motors and into history, this is the
compelling story of the partnership that eventually became the basis for
the largest company in the world."
9 Second Buick GSX Stage2 GS Stage1 9.51 @ 140
We originally built this car with Frank Urbinati back in 1996.It debuted at
the GS Nationals where it won the GS Pro Street class races. It was also
the 1st GS Pro Street class car to break into the 9's at the time.Thanks to
Frank this project came to life. Fast forward to 2010 and the car has been
taken over by Bob Ortolani,the car still looks great and Bob decided to
bring it up another level. We were happy to have the car come back to our
shop and to have the opportunity to work with Bob and put together the new
powerplant. The video shows the results of our 1st day out to tune the
engine. The 1st two passes were shakedowns to check fuel/oil pressures and
get a feel for the new combo. By the 3rd run we had posted a 9.62 @ 138
hitting the 7100rpm rev limiter chip! The 4th run was a 9.52 @ 140. On the
5th run it went 9.51 @ 140.65! After a good cool down and a timing
adjustment we were ready to try for a 9.40 run, launching right off idle
the car gave us a nice big unexpected wheelie! The wheelie sure lookes cool
but we know we can go quicker with a little more suspension work to
straighten out the launch and try to keep the front down. We're sure it'll
go into the 9.40's yet and maybe even 30's after everything is worked out.
2007 Charger R/T muffler delete interior sound
A few people have asked for interior sound of my charger with a deleted or
removed muffler but resonators were kept on. Here it is, sorry it took so
long. Only other modification is a cold air intake that I made by basically
removing the filter box and sticking a cone filter in its place at the end
of the intake tubing.
1974 Buick Apollo (Bad to the Bone)
Finally got the Buick rolling again after some ignition problems, did the
oil change and put some fresh gas and she cranked right up, did alot of
interior work and some modifications to the interior, any questions or
comments just let me know, wanna see a video of something let me know, hope
to get some more videos rolling again after schools out and when i get some
more money lol
