2009 PONTIAC G8 GT - FULLY BOLTED BUILD-UP plus CUSTOM AIRBRUSHING and HI SPEED!!
Recently purchased a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with 8,900 miles. Car was immaculate, so began staging for a full bolt-ons build-up that would increase HP gains, but wouldn't void the manufacturer's warranty. Parts used were American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive pulley, throttle body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom Dyno tune. A stock Dyno pull was performed, producing 302RWHP. After all upgrades were complete, the final Dyno pull produced 371RWHP and 387RWTQ. Joe Phillips 2009 G8 GT with APS twin turbos. Customer installed twin turbo system and brought it to us for tuning. This run made 520.4 HP/ 587.9 TQ. We made another pull with the same tune this am to back up the numbers and made 538.0 HP / 610.2 TQ.

2008 Pontiac G8 GT Top Speed Run (Completely Stock)
Pontiac G8 GT performing a top speed run to see what this, arguably the greatest pontiac ever built, is capable of achieving in completely stock trim. (p.s. i know its just a rebadged commodore) Superchips cortex programmer only used to raise the stock speed limiter, no other options were changed and no tunes were installed. Stock trim, nothing removed from the car at all, not even the spare tire. Run was done with 3/8th of a tank of gas. Car in its stock form: 361 hp & 385 ft. lbs. tq. 3,995 lbs. curb weight

Stock G8. was recorded in high heat and at pretty high elevation. Speedo slows down after 100mph because it changes rates (every dash adds 10mph up to 100. After 100, it goes up by 20mph intervals)
