How a 2 stroke detroit diesel engine runs
I have a couple videos of my 2 stroke detroit diesel powered pickup here on youtube, and I have gotten hundreds and hundreds of questions about how in the world it runs, and lots of people who do not believe that it really is a 2 stroke. So, I'm sorry, I don't have the best voice in the world, and I'm not the best at explaining things or getting the right words to come out, but I did my best in this video to try to give you an idea of how it runs.

V12 Detriot Diesel 525HP
Setting the engine up and breaking it in.Remember this engine is just being started after a rebuild so that's why it's smoking from the assembly lube and the rack will be set-up to stop the hunting etc etc. Then the oil is changed and the engine painted. These engine's go into Euclid mining rock trucks, and they were in many other equipment/vehicles.The engine has rebuild heads, turbo's, blower, water pump, all internal parts and the air compressor All done in the great north of Canada

1959 GMC DETROIT DIESEL SHIFTING
1959 GMC CANNONBALL. DETROIT 6 CYLINDER INLINE 2 CYCLE DIESEL ENGINE. THE TRANSMISSION IS A 10 SPEED ROADRANGER. TOP SPEED OF THE TRUCK IS 65 MPH. I TRIED TO DO A MIX OF LOW RANGE TO HIGH RANGE AND BACK TO LOW , SOME DOUBLE CLUTCH , SOME NO CLUTCH , JAKE SHIFTING . UPSHIFT AND DOWN SHIFT. SOME HIGHWAY DRIVING AT 50 MPH AND AT THE END CLIMBING A GRAVEL DRIVE ON A 15 % GRADE. THE TRUCK HAS 9000 MILES ON A FRAME OFF RESTORATION. IT IS NOT COMMERCIAL AND DOES NOT SMOKE OR LEAK. IT JUST GOES TO SHOWS , PARADES AND EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS IN ITS WELL DESERVED RETIREMENT. THANKS FOR LOOKING !

2002 Heavy Duty Diesel Silverado Pickup Power Boost Tune (Episode 4)
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) A 10-year-old pickup can't compete with a new truck in terms of power and torque...or can it? With the addition of a new performance Exhaust you can make your old truck run and sound better. MBRP Performance Exhaust: (http://www.autoanything.com/Exhausts-mufflers/61A1966A0A0.aspx) In this episode of Project Pickup (part 2) we continue on our quest to modify our ten-year-old diesel Chevy Silverado to more modern specs with a new Performance Exhaust. In this second part of TFLcar's episode we test the truck from 0-60 MPH to see if the installed MBRP Performance Exhaust that we got from (http://www.autoanything.com) has made the pickup faster and lauder. So does a more free flowing Exhaust increase the speed and Boost the performance of our 10-year-old pickup. You'll have to watch this video to find out. 61 chevy Apache K20 4-53T Detroit Diesel part1
First start after getting the front clip and controlls installed. and the first time it moves on its own! The engine was first intalled in a 77 Chev 1ton dually by a Detroit shop. The vid of that truck can be seen on gmbo6969 's page. This is something that I have always wanted to do and I owe him a lot of thanks for this project getting to happen!
