Roe Supercharged Viper GTS Dyno
I took my car down to American Racing Technology on 9.16.09 for a Dyno tune on my supercharged
Viper. With Accufab throttle bodies, SVS headers, Corsa catback with cat
delete, Diamond pistons/rods, a Boost a Pump on the stock system and a VEC 3
to run it all, my 10 lb. Roe wound up at 630HP and 700TQ, with 100% of that
torque coming on at 2250RPMs.
1999 Viper GTS Idle w/Heads & Cam, Corsa 3" Exhaust, No Cats, B&B Headers
The car had a 2.5" Corsa Exhaust and
the stock manifolds on it when I bought it. I spent the last month or so
upgrading the Exhaust to a full 3"
without cats, B&B 1 3/4" headers, Accufab 70mm throttle bodies and a JMB
cold air intake. The car already had JM Stage 2 CNC-ported heads and a Greg
Good-spec Comp Cam, along with other goodies that go along with those
upgrades. This is the first time I started it for a quick check to see if
I'd buttoned everything up (as you can see by the cowl and wipers on the
floor, and the missing A/C and heater components). The video does NOT give
any inclination as to how loud it is.
