Adam's 1970 Pro-Street Nova
In the midst of writing several stories of old cars, this one is being pushed to the front of the line, more or less for the reason one does not usually see a teenager who only recently got his license, show such an interest, and create a car like this, and most importantly, drive it properly and prudently on the street. He is waiting for the chance to take the car to the track, it is estimated with the fairly 'tame' engine, the Nova will do an 11-second quarter mile. To the delight of his fellow students, and yes, the girls do really like to car, Adam takes this car to school quite often. It has proven to be very reliable and street-able, albeit a conversation within is carried on at more then a whisper. Following the car from a distance, all I heard was the Nova, in my Vista Cruiser felt like I was riding a cloud! I would like to thank Josh, an astute and budding videographer for taking the clips of the moving Nova, he will have his license soon too, and he has ideas for his own project car as well, he is being inspired by all the old cars he sees and getting his own visions. As for the Nova, it has the Big Block with aluminum heads, a turbo-400 automatic, the requisite Ford 9-ich rear, narrowed of course, fitted with 4.11 final drive gears, rack and pinion steering, manual, manual front disc brakes, line-lock, safety seats, fuel cell, and the full roll cage. Please take note of Adam's graphic art skills. At his age, I have told him he is far beyond his years in talent. His work is amazing, and he is going to pursue this talent. One can only imagine what the car will look like once Adam is finished painting and detailing it. Good for you Adam, keep it up. It will help to encourage others.

Wheels UP Chevy Nova Outlaw 10.5
Frank Mamone's Outlaw 10.5 blown (HEMI V8 471ci powered) Nova is always entertaining to watch. The 6-second Chevy struggled to get a clean pass for the weekend at the APSA Pro Street Shootout held at Willowbank Raceway.
