1995 Eclipse GSX Knock/Tick Rod Spun Bearing ? Bent Valve?
Car is knocking/ticking and the previous owner thinks it's a spun bearing. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I am going to drop the oil pan and maybe pop the head off to see if it's up top or down low. Here is my 1995 Eclipse GSX that I bought a week ago. Has 137k miles, brand new Forced Performance 16G Evo III turbo, full 3" professionally installed Exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, and the rest of the car is stock. Has some shock tower rust and some rust underneath as well.
