Today on this 2011 Volvo XC70, were gonna install part number C12066 from Curt. Now this is what the hitch looks like when its installed in the vehicle. Next, well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a cargo carrier or a bicycle rack.From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground on this car is going to be 12 inches. And from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 4 inches. Now, well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed.First thing we need to do is go ahead and remove the bumper cover, well open up the hatch and theres two fasteners we have to remove. Next, were going to remove these four fasteners here, here, here and here.
