Volvo XC70 Ocean Race : Car Review
http://newcarnet.tv Pat Holliday tests the Volvo XC70 Ocean Race. From a distance, the Volvo XC70 could be mistaken for a V70 on steroids. A closer look at our test car reveals this super-estate also happens to be a special edition model, namely the XC70 Ocean Race. Thanks to crossovers, the line between estate car and SUV is becoming blurred: so which is this? You can watch all the latest car reviews, motoring news and international motor show coverage at http://newcarnet.co.uk

compare it! Audi A6 Allroad - Volvo XC 70 | drive it
The days are gone where a station wagon was just a family car. Today's station wagons are for all sorts of situations. A lot of technology has gone into the new models, which are also designed for off road driving. We compare the Audi A6 allroad quattro and the Volvo XC70. The XC70 comes with a turbo charged engine. It is a shame though that the top speed is limited to 205 kilometers an hour. The three liter Audi with its 240 horsepower manages 233 kilometers an hour. The Volvo wins on price. It is almost ten thousand Euros cheaper as the Audi.

2010 Volvo XC70 Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
Station wagons are soo uncool right? We don't think so, maybe there's something wrong with us? Nope, car enthusiast tend to love wagons, you essentially get all the practicality of an SUV with car like fuel efficiency and handling. That's not always the case, as the current Volvo XC70 feels a bit more like an SUV and drinks gas like an SUV as well. It's still a great family vehicle but we think the brand needs to offer something more to bring new buyers to the family.

2014 Volvo XC70 - Official Driving - Exterior Design
Volvo XC70 wagon hasn't been significantly revised since model-year 2008, but for 2014, the XC70 sees a host of interior and exterior updates. The XC70 will make its debut next month at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show with a slightly more rugged looking exterior and a new multimedia system. On the outside, the grille is wider and houses an enlarged Volvo badge. There are also updated headlights, redesigned taillights, more matte silver trim bits outside, and the black body cladding below the beltline has been extended to surround the fog lights.Power should remain unchanged: The 3.2 model uses a 3.2-liter inline-six-cylinder and T6 versions have a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder. Several of Volvo's other models also will be updated at the Geneva show, including the XC60, S60 and S80.

2012 Volvo XC70 Station Wagon Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/volvo/xc70/2012/?id=32972 Volvo has been making station wagons for decades. The 2012 Volvo XC70 is the latest in a great line-up of safe vehicles. The XC stands for cross-country meaning this station wagon has all-wheel drive and can go practically anywhere and do anything. The great thing about the 2012 Volvo XC70 is that from the rear seats forward it is essentially a sedan offering you tons of comfort and luxury. But the wagon style rear gives you tons of cargo room. In fact the XC70 offers 72 cubic feet of cargo room. The base price for the 2012 Volvo XC70 is $32,950 with the T6 Platinum AWD model going for $43,650. There are 2 different engines choices available on the 2012 Volvo XC70. The first is a 3.2 liter inline 6-cylinder that produces 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for this engine is 19 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. The other engine choice is a more powerful turbocharged 3.0 liter 6-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is a bit lower at 17 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. But the increase in horsepower is well worth it. When it comes to safety the XC70 is packed with the latest and greatest technology from Volvo. There are a myriad of airbags on the XC70 including side impact airbags for the driver and front passenger as well as inflatable curtain airbags for the rear occupants. A Whiplash Protection System is built into the seats as are seatbelt pre-tensioners. The 2012 Volvo XC70 comes equipped with ABS and an Emergency Brake Assist System. The Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control Systems work to keep the XC70 safely planted. When off-roading the Hill Descent Control system helps to keep the vehicle under control. The XC70 feature high ground clearance for a station wagon and most models come standard with AWD although you can opt for the FWD only system too.
