A quick video of my 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350. Of over 88,000 Firebirds produced in '87 only 2,389 Formula 350 models were made. (2.7% of total production models) Most people opted for the Trans-Am model if acquiring the L98 350 engine, so the Formula 350 is the most rare Firebird model from 1987 as most Formulas were optioned with the 305 engine. I have all Pontiac Historical Society (PRS) documentation including copies of the original invoice and window sticker.

1988 377CID Procharged Iroc-Z28
This is my brothers 1988 Iroc-Z28 with a 377c.i.d. Stroker and D-1 Procharger. I made this video ten years ago in 2001. It was very difficult to tune this engine at the time, due to the limited availability of ECM tuning options. I was programming PROM's as best as possible for this, which was, to say the least, superfluous. This engine flowed so much air, the mass air flow sensor would max out at part throttle, and could not be compensated for in pump-shot tables. This was built emissions friendly (passed with flying colors), and retained all stock creature comforts. We were the first to use the upgraded prototype mounting bracket for the D-1 Procharger on 3rd generation Camaros. The old design was thinner, and only contained 3 mounting holes. As of today, it sits after never completing the upgrade to DFI 7, Wide band 02, and 55lb. low impedance injectors. Even though it never saw wide open throttle, it remains un-defeated on the road after many impromptu races! -377 C.I.D. 9.0:1 static compression(4.000 bore x 3.750 stroke), Forged bottom end, AFR heads, SLP roller cam, SLP runners, Edelbrock intake base/58mm TB, Be-Cool aluminum radiator, Permacool dual-circuit oil cooler w/ electric fan, Air-to-air intercooled ATI D-1 Procharger, 1 3/4 SLP headers, 4" Mufflex Exhaust w/ 4" Random Tech catalytic converter, Art Carr 700R4, Precision Industries 9" vigilante converter, stock 9 bolt differential with 2.77 gears :)
