2008 Dodge Charger R/T vs. 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
Cars like the new 2008 Pontiac G8 GT and 2008 Dodge Charger R/T were once
supposed to be every American's birthright. Brawny, V8-powered, relatively
affordable rear-drive cruisers that can blow through a couple of big
Western states in an afternoon at 90 mph — their drivers staring at the
horizon through Ray-Bans, steering with one hand and smoking a Pall Mall
with the other.

more car info on our website:
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/index.htm The G8 GT combines potent
V8 power with responsive handling that belies its large size. But you'll
pay for that power at the pump.
2008 Pontiac G8 GT Top Speed Run (Completely Stock)
Pontiac G8 GT performing a top speed run to see what this, arguably the
greatest pontiac ever built, is capable of achieving in completely stock
trim. (p.s. i know its just a rebadged commodore)
Superchips cortex programmer only used to raise the stock speed limiter, no
other options were changed and no tunes were installed.
Stock trim, nothing removed from the car at all, not even the spare tire.
Run was done with 3/8th of a tank of gas.

Pontiac Reinvents Itself: 2008 Pontiac G8 GT by Inside Line
The conversation went something like this: "Hey, Steve, come by with the
Bee. Let's see how it stacks up against this 2008 Pontiac G8 GT."
Motorhead Steve lives up the street. His dad was a Dodge dealer back in the
1960s. The guy knows option codes from the muscle car era like they're his
kids' names and has a tattoo on his left forearm that reads "Mopar is Mom."
More important, he just bought himself a screaming yellow 2007 Dodge
Charger SRT8 Super Bee. We knew he wouldn't hesitate.

Pontiac G8 GXP Interview Video - Kelley Blue Book
FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS VISIT:
2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. Pontiac was once revered for its iconic performance
cars like the GTO but its recent offerings have been plagued with tacky
body cladding and overblown "sporty" design details. Thankfully, General
Motors' Bob Lutz took a hatchet to the flawed designs and brought in
Holden, an Australian division of GM, to help rebuild the style of these
performance-driven cars. There is no better representative of Pontiac's
design revolution than the new G8 GXP. Gone are the side strakes and large
spoilers of years past, leaving behind sleek bodylines and only subtle
hints to the power that lies under the hood. A new front fascia, with large
twin port grilles and air intakes, houses the same LS3 6.2-liter 402-horsepower V8 engine
that propels the Chevy Corvette. Other new design elements include 19-inch
high-polished aluminum wheels, chrome accents including quad Exhaust tips and an understated rear spoiler.

Jack R. Nerad around the new Pontiac G8 GXP. For more new car reviews,
