my new 1987 IROC Z28 Camaro. It has 305 bored, stroked and decked to 340, BBK shorty headers, 3" Exhaust and a new 40 series flowmaster muffler. I think it sounds nice.

4" Mufflex exhaust
This is my 1991 Camaro Z28 with 4" Mufflex Exhaust system. I have Hooker (#2210) long tube headers, 3" pipes from the collectors into a Flowmaster merge Y-pipe out to 4", 4" over the axle into the Spintech muffler with 3" stainless steel dual outlets. This video does not do the sound justice. I used my video setting on my digital camera. I set out for a unique sound and I got it with this system. I was tired of hearing late model Camaros with Flowmasters (sound horrible, imho). Look on my other video for complete stats on the car. The big revs are up to 5200 rpm. There was a LOT of condensation in the pipes due to their large size. The car also likes to run very rich when it has not reached closed loop, and was nearly to operating temperature in this video. I tightened the blower belt and was running full Boost in this video. More to come.

383 Camaro Idle and rev, electric cut outs
Newest vid of my Camaro, First half of vid is through mufflers..second half through cutouts (which cameras sound cant handle) The car is now sporting jet hot coated 1 3/4 Hooker Super Comp headers, High flow Stainless Cats, Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers, and QTP electronic cutouts.

1988 IROC-Z Camaro - New Magnaflow Exhaust
While the Flowmaster sounded good outside of the car, the constant droning and interior volume was driving me nuts. I've since switched to a Magnaflow muffler and haven't looked back. It sounds better outside the car and the interior volume is a fraction of what it used to be.
