2007 Chevy Silverado dyno, throttle body port & polish
A quick look at porting and polishing the throttle body on my 2007 Chevy
Silverado 5.3L Crew Cab Z71 4x4. Then a couple of Dyno pulls to compare exactly
what kind of RWHP loss larger tires do to a truck.
Mods include K&N Intake, Gibson headers, Flowmaster dual Exhaust, HP custom tune and of course P&P

Borla GMPP Touring Muffler for 2007.5 - 2013 Sierra / Silverado
Installed a Borla GMPP Performance stainless muffler for a GMC Sierra and
this is a little sound byte to hear what you'd be getting if you were to
order one. I had the catback system on my 2007 and loved it. In the new
Sierra, just ordered a muffler to install. It seems that the tone is a bit
deeper and a bit smoother than a Dyno max or Magna Flo muffler
system. GM used to include these performance Exhausts in their accessories division and have
since stopped offering them as well as other great performance parts. It's
a shame as these are great upgrades to the Sierra/Silverado truck line-up.

Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust Install on 2011 GMC Sierra
Installation of a Flowmaster Force II Cat-Back Exhaust (#817523) on a 2011 GMC Sierra.
I made this video because I was researching installing one of these on my
truck and I couldn't find anything for a GM Truck. I saw some Mustangs, some Camaros, some Ford trucks, etc.
But nobody had documented what it would be like for a GM truck. So here
you go. All in all, it was pretty easy and only took a couple hours. I
can't promise how close they are, but the instructions and kit were for
2007-2012 GM Trucks. So this would most likely apply to them as well, with
perhaps a few deviations.
Also, sorry for the fact that it's all close ups, but when your truck is on
ramps and your lying underneath it you can only zoom out so far.
[15 Oct 13] One more thing as a note on warranties. Here is a snippet
from the Flowmaster FAQ:
"There are some modifications that have the potential to void a vehicle's
factory warranty, but modifying the Exhaust system after the catalytic converter is
not one of them. All Flowmaster Exhaust systems are designed vehicle specific
and do not violate manufacturers factory warranty. If you're having
problems regarding this issue, please contact www.sema.org for more
information regarding consumer's rights on performance aftermarket parts."
87 Chevy Truck Project Update - Flowmaster Exhaust Sound - 20 December 2013
Stepping away from the "Squirter Project" and back to the 87 Chevy Truck. I
go over the LS 5.3 with 4.8 flat top pistons that will be installed into
the truck, a 60/40 bench with folding console that I plan to install and
few other lil things that I've been working on it... like installing HEAT!
That was important...

Muscle Truck vs. Baja Bug! 1974 Chevy C10 Battles Fred's Volkswagen Baja Bug - Roadkill Ep. 28
Remember the drag racing '74 Chevy Muscle Truck from Roadkill Episode 18?
It's back, but with a twist: it's gonna become a true dual-sport ride for
surf and turf, shedding its drag slicks for Super Swamper Boggers and
hitting the sand dunes...hard! And to prove that a lowered, two-wheel-drive
pickup can dominate the dunes, Freiburger and Finnegan set up a shootout
with Fred Williams from the Dirt Every Day series on the Motor Trend
channel. Fred brought out his '69 VW Baja Bug from DED Episode 23 and went
head to head with the Muscle Truck on the beach at Pismo, California.
The Roadkill/HOT ROD Magazine Muscle Truck is a '74 Chevy C10 shortbed,
stepside, with a GM LS6 crate engine (like the all-aluminum V8 found in a
C6 ZO6 Corvette). It's stock other than a small crane cam, midlength
headers, and a new addition for this episode: MSD's Atomic EFI (the truck
used to run a carburetor). The Atomic setup is atop a BBK intake manifold,
and uses a stock LS1 throttle body. That legendary Exhaust sound comes
from 3-inch pipe with 4-inch Dynomax Bullet race mufflers.
The truck's transmission is a JW turbo
400 backed by a Gear Vendors over/underdrive unit. And it really needs
overdrive because the Ford 9-inch rear carries 5.13 gears and a spool. The
suspension features dropped spindles and Ridetech Strong Arms and air bags
up front. In the rear, two leaves were removed from the stock spring packs,
they were flipped under the axle, and traction is delivered by Caltrac's

2010 Silverado Flowmaster 10 series Exhaust
2010 Silverado with factory manifolds, cats and installed a Flowmaster
Super Series 10 single chamber muffler. Sounds great and not much interior
resonance since I used the stock tail pipe and put the muffler as close to
the axle as possible. Truck also has KNN intake system and custom tune from
PCMforLess.com Truck has 4.8 and 4x4
glasspack vs flowmaster
this is a comparison of the two on an '87 firebird with a 305. the
flowmaster has a harmonized sound because of the dual outlet so try to keep
that in mind. unfortunately im stupid and dont know the brand of glasspack
nor the series of muffler.
Install Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust on a 2005 Chevy SSR
Buy Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust: http://www.autoanything.com/Exhausts-mufflers/61A3545A0A0.aspx
The Chevy SSR looks slick, but the big V8 engine in it is no sleeper.
Performance and style makes for one great package, but Flowmasters American
Thunder Exhaust system will really
turn heads. The pronounced Exhaust
note is driven by their 50 Series Muffler, which has one 3" inlet and dual
3" outlets (part # 17399).
