Ride Along: A.R.T. Dodge Viper ACR on the Track at Harris Hill Road
American Racing Technology invited Autovoce to the annual Texas Viper Roundup where I took a ride on the track in their tuned 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR. This car is a monster and I had an incredible time whipping around on the asphalt. In the video we pass a Nissan 350Z and an Aston Martin Vanquish S. Later we play tag with another Viper ACR.
Performance specs and modifications for the A.R.T. ACR:
-8.3L V-10
-Full Ballenger Exhaust and headers
-A.R.T. cold air intake
-Full suspension setup by A.R.T.
-Produces and estimated 570 HP
What you dont see in this video is the Viper's clean, customized interior which includes an impressive sound system.

(HD) Dodge Viper ACR Walkaround, Start Up & Acceleration
On day two of my trip, we started off by going to iHop for breakfast. While we were sitting down, I heard a car revving and I turned around and I saw a huge carbon fiber wing on a car and I immediately knew it was a Viper ACR. I went outside and took a few videos and then when they left I went back outside. You cant really hear the start up of the Viper because of the obnoxiously loud truck, but you can kind of hear the acceleration. Enjoy! Subscribe!

1000HP American Racing Technology Twin Turbo Ford GT
In July of 2009 I was able to drop by A.R.T. in Buda Texas to check out their Twin turbo Ford GT. I took photos and video, this is a short video I made from a couple of the Dyno runs as well as some footage of the Ford GT in action.

Koenig Ferrari Testarossa vs. Copperhead Dodge Viper SRT/10
B. goes for ride in a Blue 1990 Koenig Body Ferrari Testarossa with Twin turbos, only a handfull, around 20, Testarossa's were tuned like this- and a ride in a Heavily Tuned Viper SRT/10. All White Dodge Viper ACR On The Road!!!
STORY: Ok so we were going to get something to eat and we were just leaving our neighborhood and i see a viper and i was like oh, cool........ and then i see a wing on it... i was like wait a minute. ither thats a badly modded SRT10 or is a F*%#*&# ACR, but it was on the opposite side of the road :( so we try to turn around but the light turns red (for like 3 minutes) then we floor it down the road at like 100MPH lol and finally catch up to it, and then get a video of it.............. enjoy, you can hear the engine a little bit at some points....
Dodge Viper Lap Record at Nürburgring : 7'12"13 (Motorsport)
Une rumeur annonçait que la Dodge Viper ACR avait battu le record de la Lexus LFA (7'14"64) sur la Nordschleife en 7'12"13. Aujourd'hui, la firme américaine confirme, vidéo à la clé.
Pour rappel, la Viper ACR est une véritable voiture de course échappée des circuits avec son V10 de 612ch et 77,3 mk de couple, ses 1 533 kg et surtout ses suspensions et son aileron réglable. A l'occasion de ce record, l'équipe de SRT a très légèrement modifié la sportive utilisée. Le cinquième rapport a été raccourci (0,80 au lieu de 0 74) tandis que l'aileron a été redessiné pour améliorer l'aérodynamique.
Le pilote de GT Dominik Farnbacher était aux commandes de la Viper ACR qui a réalisé le record le 14 septembre dernier. Quant à Ralph Gilles, président de SRT et de la division sport auto du groupe Chrysler, il s'est dit extrêmement fier de ce temps.
La Viper ACR devient ainsi la quatrième auto la plus rapide sur le Nürburgring, juste derrière l'impressionnante Gumpert Apollo Sport (7'11"57). Le meilleur chrono est toujours la propriété de la barquette anglaise Radical SR8 LM avec 6'48.
