Colin Mcrae - The Most Amazing & Talented Rally Driver
He was one of the most famous & talented rally drivers the world has ever
seen. He was definitely the best in conquering the hearts of his fans. With
the Subaru Impreza WRX STi, he won several World Championships and since
then the Suparu Impreza is associated with his name. Colin Mc Rae was
famous and loved by the fans because of his crazy driving style and his way
to handle car damages and problems himself, most of the time, just with raw
force. During the Rallies, he always preferred to repair his cars himself.
Colin McRae was the 1991 and 1992 British Rally Champion and, in 1995
became the first British person and the youngest to win the World Rally
Championship Drivers' title, a record he still holds.
McRae's outstanding performance with the Subaru World Rally Team enabled
the team to win the World Rally Championship Constructors' title three
times in succession in 1995, 1996 and 1997. After a four-year spell with
the Ford Motor Co. team, which saw McRae win nine events, he moved to
Citroën World Rally Team in 2003 where, despite not winning an event, he
helped them win the first of their three consecutive manufacturers' titles.
He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services
to motorsport in 1996.
McRae died in 2007 when the helicopter he was piloting crashed near his
home. The accident also claimed the lives of his son and two family
friends. In November 2008 he was posthumously inducted into the Scottish
Sports Hall of Fame.

Rallye in the world of 1999' WRC
Legendary Rally Drift 1999's Collection by TwinturboRS
｛add some valuable information about 1999' WRC｝
Two very exciting new cars made debut in 1999'. first was Ford Focus which
replaced long serving Escort and coupled with mega star McRae.
Another new blockbuster was Peugeot206 WRC. Beforehand it was expected that
level of Peugeot's professionalism would be very high and competition would
make a leap with their involvement. And when French Lion entered the arena,
they indeed were very competitive.
Mitsubishi and Subaru also had new cars but these were evolutions of
existing cars than completely new ones and same applied to new Seat Cordoba
