2016 Honda HR-V Vs 2015 Honda CR-V - DESIGN!
Tags Jazz, ford ecosport, niva, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, Toyota Fortuner, nissan X-Trail 2016 Honda HR-V EX AWD vs 2015 CR-V EX AWD The goal is clear. Car-makers everywhere are making smaller and more efficient vehicles. Compact versions of the favorite larger models are being produced to meet the expectations for fuel-efficient and environmentally-friendly cars. Looking at what has already been produced and what is sure to be released in the future, we can expect to see cars showing how less can sometimes be more. Comparing the 2016 Honda HR-V vs 2015 Honda CR-V easy to do, but the choice between the two is another matter altogether. While there are those out there who feel that smaller crossovers limit the car’s capability and comfort, that is clearly not a problem with the HR-V and CR-V. While both of the models offer different features that one driver might prefer over another, both cars will create an exciting and comfortable driving experience. Newer is not Always Better It seems that the 4-cylinder engines are used to different ends with the 2016 HR-V and the 2015 CR-V based on the difference in horsepower and torque. This might have to do with the fact that the HR-V is much smaller with only 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space to the 35.2 cubic feet in the CR-V. The luxury and versatility in both vehicles is impressive. Honda has stepped up their game to match the fuel economy with the smaller cars without forcing drivers to pass up on comfort and style. With customizable features that allow the driver and all passengers to feel at home in their car, Honda has made the 2016 HR-V with the ability to load cargo in multiple ways with both a tall mode and the Magic Seat that allow the passenger seats to be folded down to create more space. With a little more horsepower, the 2015 Honda CR-V will give the adventurous and busy to get where they are going with ease. If more space and power are important in a vehicle to you, the 2016 Honda HR-V might be best for road trips with more to bring along. Looking for the newest technology in space and fuel saving will lead you to the 2016 Honda HR-V with multiple ways to use the available space for storage. If you are interested in taking a closer look at the 2015 Honda CR-V or the 2016 Honda HR-V, contact the friendly, professional staff at Continental Honda for a test-drive. SNOWY Off-Road Review #1: 2015 Honda CR-V AWD on Everyman Driver
http://www.everymandriver.com/ - 2015 Honda CR-V SNOWY Off-Road Review (PART 1) @EverymanDriver @IMDaveErickson The 2015 Honda CR-V is a five-passenger crossover SUV offered in LX, EX, EX-L and Touring trim levels. The LX comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, full power accessories, a rearview camera, cruise control, air-conditioning, a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 60/40-split-folding and reclining rear seat with trunk-mounted release handles, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, an iPod/USB audio interface and Pandora Internet radio compatibility. The EX adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights with LED running lights, a sunroof, fog lights, rear privacy glass, a retractable cargo cover, keyless entry and ignition, an eight-way power driver seat (with two-way power lumbar), heated front seats, a blind spot monitoring system with a camera that shows your passenger-side blind spot (Honda's LaneWatch), a 7-inch touchscreen, dynamic guidelines for the rearview camera and a six-speaker sound system with an extra USB port. The EX-L adds roof rails, heated side mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, satellite radio and a seven-speaker sound system. The Touring tacks on 18-inch wheels, projector beam headlights, a power lift gate, adaptive cruise control, a forward collision mitigation system, a lane departure warning system, driver seat memory settings, a navigation system and HD radio. The navigation system (with HD radio) is optional on the EX-L trim, but there are otherwise no factory options on any CR-V. Every 2015 Honda CR-V comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 185 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. A CVT is the only available transmission. Buyers can choose between front- and all-wheel drive on all trims. The EPA's estimated fuel economy on 2015 CR-Vs with front-wheel drive is 29 mpg combined (27 city/34 highway), a superb showing for this segment. The all-wheel-drive CR-V, at 28 mpg combined (26 city/33 highway), is right behind. The 2015 Honda CR-V comes standard with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and a rearview camera. The LaneWatch blind spot monitoring system (featuring a camera of its own that displays passenger-side blind spot activity on the 7-inch touchscreen) is standard on all but the LX. The Touring boasts a lane departure warning system and a forward collision warning and mitigation system that's able to distinguish between vehicles and pedestrians (and warn the driver accordingly) as well as apply automatic braking intervention to reduce the severity of a collision. The 2015 CR-V benefits from a handful of interior enhancements, starting with a sliding center console armrest that flips up to reveal cavernous internal storage (the old flip-down seat armrests and console bin have been discontinued). Overall, this remains one of the most practical cabins in the segment, providing plenty of nooks and crannies for just about any personal items you might have. The seats are a strength, too, with firm, well-shaped support in front and generous head- and legroom (or child-seat room) in back courtesy of the reclining rear bench. Rear climate vents in the back of the center console are a nice touch at this price point. Honda has also added soft-touch dashboard inserts with simulated stitching to give the CR-V a more premium vibe, but these we find less successful. The current-generation CR-V has utilized subpar plastics in various cabin locations from the get-go, and most of them have stuck around for 2015. Numerous rivals look and feel more upscale inside. Happily, the controls are logically laid out and easy to learn, including the widely available 7-inch touchscreen (EX and above) with its large, user-friendly icons. 2015 Honda CR-V Test Drive Video Review - Small Crossover SUV
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/cr-v/2015/?id=32972 There are a lot of folks that are calling the 2015 Honda CR-V the best of the bunch when it comes to small Crossover SUVs. Honda has made a slew of changes to the 2015 CR-V starting of course with the styling. But its what’s underneath that makes the big difference; the suspension has been revamped causing the ride and handling to be much more comfortable. The base price for the new 2015 Honda CR-V is $23,320. Under the hood is the new 2.4 liter Earth Dreams engine and CVT transmission. Power is rated at 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy figures are 27 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. If you are looking for something with more power than the Ford EcoBoost might be up your alley. The new CR-V also has a bunch of safety features. Video by Dan Grey See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel
