Finally got the Cutlass to the strip today and made an 11.2 second pass. Elevation air was at 4100 ft, so the day was pretty terrible. The new engine ran great and we had a really decent night. Need to do some tweaks and changes for next week. But overall everything went well.
Riding in the BLOWN Nova 650+hp
Here is a quick video a buddy took while he was riding in my Nova. Didn't even know he was taking it or I would have given her a little more throttle and not shifted so early. Gotta drive it nice through town unless I feel like getting a ticket that day.... Better videos to come!
Anyways its a 70 nova with a magnum 6-71 blower on a built 355 SBC. 650+ horse on 110 overdriven, 582 horse the way its sitting now. Built trans w/manual valve body, ford 9" spool. WIll run high 10's on a good day w/slicks. Average in low 11's.

454 CHEVY BURNOUT! - 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme Screams In The Driveway!
We just got the new engine dropped into the Cutlass today. Here's a quick vid of the initial startup and some burnout fun. Tested out the new fuel system, line lock, 0.070 over 454 BBC, front end bushings and drag springs, etc. Almost ready for the track. :) Stay tuned for those vids coming soon.
