All of this was computer generated. :)

DEATH OF A TRANS AM WS6!!
After a year of beating on the stock block after all the mods, and approaching 98k miles, the LS1 block finally started having excessing blow-by in the cylinders and also blowing oil into the upper crankcase housing. It ran strong, producing idle launch 1/4 times of 12.4 @ 118MPH. But....IT'S TIME TO GO BIG!! Updates on the way... Car has LS1 motor, cam, Dart Pro 1 stage 3 heads, headers, Borla Exhaust, cutout, LS6 intake, lid, K&N, tune, ASP pulley, Hurst shifter, shift light, Nitto Drag Radials, DragLite wheels, Moser 4.10 gears and more. Motor work was done at East Texas Muscle Cars. Airbrushing by Allen Jonez - lid design is from the Disturbed Ten Thousand Fists album. Pontiac Trans AM LS1 Tune Up
I havn't seen any ls1 tune up videos on any of these cars yet. Everyone Complains how Spark Plug #8 is such a nightmare, and it really is if you dont know what your doing, don't have the right tools, Etc. Don't waste your money buying a "special" tool for this job. Its easy and this video will help get you through it in a matter of minutes! Step 1: Get tools you will need. 10MM "semi" deep socket. NOT A DEEP SOCKET Shorty Ratchet and a normal long ratchet Flat head screw Driver Small Channel Lock pliers and/or Specific clamp pliers Flash light if its kind of dark.. Obviously Special Spark Plug Socket. Extendable Magnet and maybe some brews! Step #2: Use 10MM and unscrew your AIR Pump Metal fitting. (OPTIONAL): Use your flat head and remove the metal fitting off the hose. You can lay the hose across the Intake. Also Remove the OIL dipstick. You do not have to move the cables at all. that is also optional Step #3: With your small pliers, or clamp pliers, reach back and squeeze clamp and pull back on to heater core hose. Once you have done that, Gently and carefully twist hose and lightly pull hose back off the plastic piece. If it does not twist, put your Channel lock pliers back there, put over hose and use that to twist, eventually it will twist, give and slide right off. Step #4: once you have the heater hose off and pulled back, you will then use your shorty ratchet wit the 10MM SEMI Deep socket and start do loosen and pull the bolts off. Step #5: Unplug the Old coil packs, Pull old spark plug wires off and remove the Coil Pack Step #6: From there use your normal/Longer Ratchet and your spark plug socket, then begin to loosen and remove your Plugs. After all that was removed, You will have all the clearance in the world to do this without a sweat. I havn't seen any instructional videos yet, so i decided to make one. I actually decided at the last second to do this, so if you guys would like a new one way more in depth, Ill be more than happy to revise it. I hope this helps and Good Luck with your RIDE! Oh by the way, Pleas make sure to Re Connect EVERYTHING! if you need to, make a check list for your self on everything you remove and so that way you can go back down the list once your done to make sure its all re connected as supposed to be When you get your new plugs, Please take the quick few minutes to check the Spark Plug Gap. I don't remember if its .040 or .050. Something like that but i believe both will work. Goodluck!
