DEATH OF A TRANS AM WS6!!
After a year of beating on the stock block after all the mods, and approaching 98k miles, the LS1 block finally started having excessing blow-by in the cylinders and also blowing oil into the upper crankcase housing. It ran strong, producing idle launch 1/4 times of 12.4 @ 118MPH. But....IT'S TIME TO GO BIG!! Updates on the way... Car has LS1 motor, cam, Dart Pro 1 stage 3 heads, headers, Borla Exhaust, cutout, LS6 intake, lid, K&N, tune, ASP pulley, Hurst shifter, shift light, Nitto Drag Radials, DragLite wheels, Moser 4.10 gears and more. We plan to restore and modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe connectors, boxed control arms, and more. WS9 and LS1 Automatic transmission Silver exterior/grey interior I'm planing on removing the red pin striping on the exterior of the car. up close it does not look like it's a very professional job and doesn't look great. Also I don't want the initials of the previous owner on the car :P

This is a beautiful WS6 Trans Am that we are putting the finishing touches on. This particular car came to us with the Torquer V2 Camshaft already installed. We then added our in house hand ported LS1 Cylinder heads and FAST LSXR 102 intake manifold which was also ported in house.





Big Cam LS1 Trans Am
.690 in .645 ex 240/241 Duration 111.5 LSA cam, 383, FAST 90/90, full bolt on's, 200 shot plate and a 300 shot direct port with a stand alone fuel system, through 1 3/4 headers and a true dual 3 in exhuast with x pipe and Dynomax bullets on a cold start.
