British F3 Crash log 1994
1994 and Jan Magnussen takes the title, so far the only Danish winner of
the British F3 title. We are back to attractive low-sidepod cars after a
year of "lego brick" styling. Plenty of action, hopefully a good few new
shots you havn't seen before. After a couple of seasons keeping their flat
bottoms pointing at the track, we had two big rollovers this season. With
Andre Ribeiro moving on, Roberto Xavier and Marcos Geuiros step up to vie
for top-shunter position, with able support from the always unlucky Garth
Waberski. Also getting name checked are Vincent Rademacker, Luis Garcia,
Scott Lakin, Christian Horner (yes him from Red Bull again), Brian
Cunningham, Chris Clarke, Gareth Rees, Ricardo Rosset, Marc Gene, Grey
Hedley, Paul Dawson, Steven Arnold, Steve Watson, Jamie Spence, Zac Brown,
Gaulter Salles, Ivan Arias, Jeremie Dufour, Pedro de la Rosa. My old boss
from Donington marshaling days Mr Brown makes an appearance at 4:38 as he
checks on Scott Lakin.

Mike Rockenfeller Crash Le Mans 24 Hours 2011
Audi suffered its second unbelievable accident just hours after Allan
McNish's race-ending crash, with driver Mike Rockenfeller reportedly
climbing from the destroyed R18 under his own power.
Rockenfeller, part of the defending race-winning No. 1 Audi R18 driving
team, was attempting to pass the No 71 AF Corse Ferrari F458 driven by
Michael Waltrip Racing's Rob Kaufmann at 10:40 p.m. when the two cars made
contact at the ultra-fast Kink section of the Mulsanne Straight.
Official reports from both teams are forthcoming.

During the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Audi R18 TDI driven by Audi Sport
driver Allan McNish was destroyed in an accident near the fabled Dunlop
bridge. Fortunately Allan was left basically unhurt. At 1PM, two hours
before the end of the race, Allan spoke with the press about his experience
