94 4Runner: Brake/Clutch Assembly + Center Console (07/17/11)
Today I got a fair bit done. I took the 4runner automatic brake pedal assembly, and added all the clutch pedal bracketry to it. Got it installed, and now Im ready for a clutch master cylinder!
Then I started messing around with a center console/lockbox thing for the 4runner. should be pretty sweet when its done, though it might be a while, cause i broke my sheet metal brake today haha!

94 4Runner: Bombproof Motor Mounts & Steering Shaft (08/04/11)
Well, I waited for the delivery guy to show up with my motor mounts. In the meantime, i started working on getting the steering linkages setup to finish the engine bay off. It was a huge pain in the butt, but i got it all finished.
Then my motor mounts showed up, man are they beef!
Then I was just up to my usual randomness...

4Runner: Glasspacks + Leaf springs + Clutch Master Cylinder (07/06/11)
Well, i got a LOT done on my 4runner today! i cut apart the glasspacks that i had on my 1985 toyota 4x4 with the 3.4L. They were just too loud! what i did was cut the end off one, pull it apart, and hammered the inner tube flat, then welded it. then i welded the glasspack back together! should be tons quieter!
Then i started to clean up the corner in the shop, and found my old ford leaf springs! so i pulled them out, and dearched them a bit, and built custom packs! they will fit perfect on the 4runner!
Then i drilled a few holes in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder!
all in all, a good day! i got to see my brother for the last time before i move out to alberta too!
Thanks for Watching!
94 4Runner: Install Clucth/Transmission/Transfer Cases! (08/23/11)
Well, with a lot of running around, i got the Clutch, Transmission, and Transfer cases bolted up, and good to go! did it in 3.5 hours too! frig did i pay for it though... pushed way too hard! thought i gave myself a hernia or something...
Thanks for Watching!
94 4Runner: Custom Hand-Made Body Mounts! & Wheelin (07/01/11)
Well, I started to build custom plate bodymounts for the rear-most of the 4Runner, then realized that i was way overthinking... Built some sweet tube ones instead. much easier, and not impossible to make 2 identical haha!
Then we left to go wheelin, but ended up waiting at the gas station for a little over an hour... saw some pretty funny stuff, as well as a sweet Monte Carlo!
I didnt get much wheelin footage, as i was in the back seat of my brother's 4Runner, and couldnt see a whole lot anyways... oh well... next time...
Came home, and finished the mounts! got them tacked on, though, i will have to move the driver side mount down about 1/4"
Thanks for Watchin!
94 4Runner: She Rolls Now! (Axles and Wheels Installed!) (08/11/11)
Well, despite my stitches, i worked on the 4runner. im stubborn as frig haha!
I did it all without lifting too! not bad. I got the rear axle under the springs, installed the ubolts, then jacked it up and bolted the tires on! awesome!
I have a seized caliper on the back though... So i have a few little things i need to do. Gotta move the spring hangers forward about 5" as well to center the axle and line up the shock tabs!
Thanks for Watching!
94 4Runner: 5VZ-FE (3.4L) Fires Up For First Time! (08/21/11)
Well, I got all the wiring done, and installed the gas tank, only to have a setback... But I got that dealt with, and turned the key, and she fired up! took a bit though... It wouldnt have had a problem if i had my car started to begin with... the 4runner just wasnt getting enough juice...

Well here it is kids another offering of my most popular subject to date, drum brake servicing. I know it's long but I've put a few extras in it for you that I hope you will like and will help you with other things besides just replacing the shoes. Feel free to comment on anything I might have missed, I know I misspoke on a couple of occasions in the video, forgive me as sometimes my mouth says different things than my brain is thinking.
