Remember folks this isnt a racing bike but a touring bike I wanted to put you in the driver's seat of,, I purchased it 3 years ago with 4 thousand original miles and Im very impressed with its speed and quickness for a big heavy bike,,Im sure a skilled driver willing to smoke the back tire on tack off or ride the clutch could get better speed and time than me but from where I started out up to the stop sign on the right is about 100 feet less than 1/8th mile so i figure Im running the 8th mile in less than 7 seconds at aprrox 100 mph which is fair speed but nothing to a real drag bike that runs it in 4 seconds or less,,I love this old bike and these videos is the hardest its been ran since ive owned it and want happen again for a long time cause I baby it rather than dog it,,I already have 6 thousand miles on the new back tire and its not showing any wear at all,,Hope you enjoy the video of a old bike from the early 90's and I bet back then it was a force to be dealt with,,haha,,,Rick
