This is my first video Ive ever made, so sorry if it sucks. Had to trim it down from 30+min long. And I didnt even get all the pulls in. Made a total of 9 Dyno Pulls that day, with a result of 450 hp and 479 ft lbs. On the later pulls I had him turn the Dyno down to read as low as possible, which is 3000 RPM. By 3k it was already making 430 ft lbs! and at 6000 was still at 412 ft lbs, VERY flat and nice torque curve. We tried different size jets, 2 different carb spacers, and played with the timing. Best result was out of the box jetting for the carb, and carb right on the manifold! Lost 15 ft lbs on the low end with the carb spacers! Was a great day at the Dyno shop, hope you guys enjoy the video!

How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383
stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are
electric - but I digress LOL).
MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up
the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part
you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust

1973 Camaro 383 Stroker First Dyno Run
This is my 1973 Camaro,
Engine specs, Eagle forged crankshaft, eagle forged h-beam connecting rods,
10.1 to 1 hyperutetic pistons, airflow research (AFR) aluminum 195 heads.
Thye valve train is all compcams brand that was purchased as a kit, solid
roller 575 lift with gold roller rocker arms with a moroso stud girdle. the
carb is an Edelbrock 750 mechanical choke 4barrel. Tranny is a Tremec TKO
600, Hotchkis suspension, Flowmaster
First Dyno run to get
a baseline before any tuning or changes are to be made.

383, 388 stroker chevy with comp cams big mutha thumpr
This is a 388 chevrolet engine cold start up. It has a big mutha thumper
cam and 492 dumble hump heads. Heads have been angle milled and bowl
ported with light porting. flat top pistons and block been decked giving
aprox 11.7:1 static compression. 750 edelbrock carb and a dual plane high
rise air gap intake. This is all in a 1960 Chevy truck frame that im
restoring right now. Engine is backed with turbo 350 and ford 9 inch.
