After much weeding through endless chopped wire harnesses and assembly
I was finally able to get the Gnarly 928 from PACWEST running and growling.The Motec M48 was wired ass backwards as were alot of other things but I was able to sort it out and get a basic fuel and timing MAP thanks to the infamous professor Louie Ott. The learning curve will be steep but I think I should be able to nail it down.
Cam timing is at 1' retarded on left bank and 1' advanced on right bank just for starters then dial them in with compression. Got to love the sound of them ITB's!

TURBINE-POWERED PORSCHE 928
We installed a turbine engine in a stock porsche 928 and turned it into a
fire-breathing beast. The engine is a Boeing T50-BO-12 and it is mated to
the stock automatic transmission with a simple gearbox that drops the
shaft. We then added an afterburner system by injecting jet fuel into the
Exhaust manifold. This is one wild

A short film of a Porsche 928 weekend organised by the 928 section of the
Porsche Club of Great Britain. The first meeting point was the Merry
Miller pub at Cothill just outside Oxford. After this, the next day was
spent at the legendary Brooklands racing circuit just outside London.
Brooklands was completed in 1907 and held its last race in 1939. Now it's
a museum and only some of the racing track remains. I travelled there in
my own 928 which is a 1989 S4 5.0L.

The Porsche 928 was a sports-GT car sold by Porsche AG of Germany from 1978
to 1995. Originally intended to replace the company's iconic 911, the 928
attempted to combine the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with
the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury sedan to create what
some Porsche executives thought would be a vehicle with wider appeal than
the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911.
Since its inception in 1949, Porsche has manufactured only six
front-engined models, four of which were coupes, including the 928. The car
has the distinction of being the company's only coupe powered by a
front-mounted V8 engine, and the company's first mass-produced V8 powered
During 1983 the 928S was the fastest car sold in North America, with a top
speed of 146 mph (235 km/h)
The Porsche 942 was a special edition 928 presented by the company as a
gift to Ferry Porsche on his 75th birthday in 1984. Its also known by name
928-4, 928S. It featured 10 in (254 mm) longer wheelbase than normal 928
production model, including an extended roof above the rear seats to better
accommodate tall passengers, at the time very advanced projector
headlights, the 5 liter 32-valve engine before it was introduced in US
market, and S4 front and rear bumpers two years before they entered
"Study H50" Four-door 928 based prototype
Three years later, in 1987, the lengthened 928 that had been presented to
the company's founder on his 75th birthday turned up as a "Feasibility
Study", now with a second (rather narrow) set of doors, apparently opening
in the same way as the doors on the twenty-first century Mazda RX-8. At
the time "Study H50" appeared to sink with little trace, but two decades
later, with the launch of the larger four-door Porsche Panamera, the 928
based four-door prototype from 1987 acquired greater significance.
In some automotive magazines and web sites, such as Road & Track, Car and
Driver, and TopSpeed.com, there have been endless rumors about a quite
possible rebirth to a classic model that has been set aside, but not
forgotten, in the Porsche archives - the 928. It has been reported that
