Onboard: Race Action from Raed Raffii in the Chevrolet Lumina V8 Supercar Finale

http://www.driver-coaching.com - Great Onboard race action with Raed Raffii in the final round of the Chevrolet Supercars Middle-East Championship at the fabulous Zain Reem circuit in Saudi Arabia. Raed had qualified on pole for both races but made the mistake of being a little too fast for the rolling start and was caught out by Tarek El-Gammal into Turn 1. Raed battled with the Australian who was not as quick but who defended admirably but this allowed Fahad Al-Musalam to catch the pair. Raed briefly passed both El-Gammal and Al-Musalam at the hairpin as they battled for position but this left all 3 cars going side by side into the tricky double-left. Raed sensibly left room on the inside, just as well as a sideways Al-Musalam came by in a full 4-wheel drift which would have scored highly in any Drift Competition. Unfortunately Raed's generosity in leaving space let El-Gammal back into the lead. Raed chased hard and was many times alongside but El-Gammal retained his lead until the flag with Raed finishing in 2nd. Onboard: Rear Suspension Collapses at 160kph! Raed Raffii Chevrolet Supercars Middle-East
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard with Raed Raffii as his rear suspension fails exiting the last turn at Zain Reem almost pitching into the armco. He fights with the wheel to avoid a big crash before bringing his car to a halt at the side of the circuit. This was from Race 2 of the last round of the Chevrolet Supercars Middle-East Championship. Raed had built up a considerable lead from pole-position before yet another win was lost through mechanical failure, sadly for Raed and the Meezer Racing Team this has been the story of the 2009/2010 season. It's been a tough season for Raed and as his driver coach it has been tough to watch but Raed has kept positive throughout the season and his time will come. Onboard : Saeed AlMouri Radical SR3 Driven like a Rally Car Zain Reem
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard the Radical SR3 of 2010 Saudi Radical Champion Saeed AlMouri on a sand covered Zain Reem Circuit. This was the season finale, Saeed had already sewn up the Championship but was still hungry for victories. Conditions took a turn for the worse on raceday as the circuit was hit by a sandstorm. By the time of the race it had eased a little but the circuit was still covered in sand. No problem to Saeed, an accomplished Rally Driver but it did give us some great action as an early spin left Saeed at the back of the pack and the video covers his fight to move back up the field with some great overtaking moves and awesome "rally style" driving. Who said you couldn't drive Radicals sideways? Saeed can :) Saeed is back on familiar territory this week when he competes in the Sharqia Rally in Saudi Arabia. Onboard Raed Raffii Victory in Bahrain F1 Weekend - Chevrolet V8 Supercars Round 6
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard the Chevrolet V8 Supercar of Meezer Racing driver Raed Raffii as he scores a dominant victory in front of a huge F1 crowd at the Bahrain Circuit. Raed dominated qualifying and put his car on pole position for both races. Defending from the always fast starting Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh Raed left a gap and 2007/2008 Champion Fahad Al-Musalam took the opportunity to squeeze by into the lead. Raed chased hard but a small mistake towards the end of lap 1 let Abdulaziz by which opened the way from the popular Saudi driver to give chase to Al-Musalam. There followed a close battle between Al-Musalam and Al-Yaeesh. With Al-Musalam seemingly struggling with lockups under braking finally Al-Yaeesh forced an error and got alongside on the run down to Turn 4. What followed ended up being discussed late into the evening in the stewards room but contact between Al-Musalam and Abdulaziz led to the Saudi drivers front wheel being shattered, his tyre coming off and bouncing down the hill and both drivers ending in the gravel. Check out my channel for the onboard video from the car of Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh and make your own call on the incident. Onboard Yas Marina (Abu-Dhabi) V8 Supercars ME Round 4, Race 1 (Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh)
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard footage from the Chevy Lumina V8 of Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh from Yas Marina in Race 1 of the Chevrolet Supercars Middle-East Championship. The V8s were supporting the GP2 Asia Championship. They had previously supported the F1 Grand-Prix in Abu-Dhabi and less than 1 weeks time will play support to the awesome Holdens and Fords of the Aussie V8 Supercar Championship. The video covers the 1st 9 minutes of the race when Abdulaziz was battling with his rivals Tarek ElGammal and Fahad Al-Musalam. The 2nd part of the race was fairly boring for Abdulaziz with too big a gap to those in front and no-one chasing him. As you can see the track was very slippy and even the GP2s had problems. A Great win from Oliver Turvey in Race 1 was topped (IMO) by an awesome performance from Davide Valsecchi in Race 2 and an equally impressive one from GP2 newcomer Jules Bianchi who made some aweseome overtaking moves. Video system used was VIDEO4 from Race-Technology. Onboard Yas Marina Chevrolet V8 Supercars ME - Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh - Rnd5, Race 2, Part 1 (of 3)
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard the Chevrolet Lumina V8 Supercar of Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh during Race 2 of Round 5 held at the fabulous Yas Marina Circuit in Abu-Dhabi UAE. After an incident at the start involving Tarek ElGammal and Raed Raffii Abdulaziz takes the lead but this is short lived as professional Aussie V8 Supercar driver Micheal Patrizi manages to get by. Aziz gives chase and keep the Aussie driver honest but just can't catch him. Although finishing 2nd on the road it was effectively a win for the Saudi driver as Patrizi was just guesting in the series and Aziz had beaten all the registered drivers. Onboard WGA V8 Supercars ME - Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh - Round 2, Race 1 - Bahrain - Great Racing Action
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard the Chevy Lumina SC09 of Speeding Saddles driver Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh in Race 1 of Round 2 of the 2011/2012 Championship. The car was very difficult to drive in Free Practice with the rear stepping at when least expected. We changed the setup which was no better plus he only got a few laps in Quali as a fuel pipe had fractured losing him power. This left Abdulaziz with very little seat time and an 8th on the grid start position. Overniught we discovered the front chassis subframe was bent, nothing could be done so Aziz would have to drive it as it was. Our video begins at the restart (after initial start aborted). Aziz is keeping up well with plenty of close action when the Safety Car is called. After the restart we see some fantastic racing from Aziz to secure a fantastic 3rd place with a car that must have been so difficult to drive. Video is captured on a Video4 setup from Race-Technology. I use this system extensively in my driver coaching where we are able to compare data & video down to minute detail to help the driver improve at a faster rate. http://www.race-technology.com Why not subscribe to my channel for the very best onboard videos on Youtube, over 400 videos already uploaded and new ones posted every week, from race series' and trackdays all over the world. http://www.youtube.com/maxxuk If you enjoy this video please consider adding it as a favorite or giving it a thumbs up :) THANKS.

Onboard: Ma5da MX5 Championship 2010 Brands Hatch Race 3 - Fahad Hizam Car #43
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard the Mazda MX5/Miata of Fahad Hizam competing in his first race meeting of the 2010 Ma5da MX5 Championship at Brands Hatch. It was Fahads first visit to the circuit and although he had done some laps in testing it was not in the same car. Fahad qualified 26th out of 32 cars, lower than he had hoped but he was at a big disadvantage to many of the other cars a) having never driven this car before b) was new to Brands Hatch c) The car had new (road) tyres on which meants he had much less grip than cars on worn tyres and less again than those running "buffed" tyres. The purpose for Fahad in competing in the 2010 Championship is to gain experience of race craft and compare himself to other drivers in the most competitive Motorsport country in the world, the UK. This is race 3 which was also incident packed. The race was restricted tojust 10 minutes owing to a nasty crash in an earlier race and was again interupted by a safety car period. Once again we saw drivers oblivious to waved yellow flags which, for those who dont know means SLOW DOWN, NO OVERTAKING AND BE PREPARED TO STOP. Again it was car #25 which went past Fahad at full speed into Paddock Hill bend despite waved yellows for a car had just gone off and was only just off the circuit. Had the car not gone off as much and was just on side of the track then he would have piled right into it and it would have been a very nasty accident indeed. Not only was he lucky in that regard he was also lucky that no-one, marshals nor observers, spotted him or he would as a minimum been disqualified and personally I would have added points to his license. We cant afford to have rookies come into racing with this lack of attention and a complete disregard for safety. To add insult to injury he was even presented with the driver of the day award. Had I known it was the same guy I would have objected. Video is captured on a 4-Cam Video4 setup from Race-Technology, supplied, fitted and operated by www.driver-coaching.com. Also in this video we have a heart rate monitor fitted to the driver which communicates via bluetooth the the DL1 data-logger giving live heart rate information whilst on circuit.
