Fast Spec Miata Lap at Road Atlanta
This was my best lap of the weekend. Unfortunately it was still 1 second
off the pole.
Thanks to Mike in his pinkmobile for the tow. I wish I could have been just
a little closer to stay in his draft.

Miata at Road Atlanta GoPro Hero3 Incar Onboard Track Day
hero 3 black on 1080p at 30fps mounted to the roll bar. This was an MVP
Track Time event. I couldn't do better than 2 minutes flat. car has no
motor work besides big radiator. Raceland coils, 195/50r15 Potenza re-11s
at 30psi cold, hawk dtc-60 pads all around, motul brake fluid.

More HPDE at Road Atlanta. I thought I would try following the gray Honda
S2000. Street tires and a greasy track made for some entertaining moments
(see 2:24 and 2:41) and the honda gets away. I need sticky tires. (data by

At 6:58, a pass signal to the blue TT is waved off. At 9:20, three cars
are pitting in, and no traffic is visible in front or behind. For a couple
of moments I'm wondering if I somehow missed a flag or something. At
10:47, an off track car is visible, and it causes a yellow flag at 12:20.
Data was collected with an iPhone and synced with the video manually, and
so should be considered approximate. :)
Crash at GIR
Cold slicks on a cold, greasy track and throttle mismanagement lead to an
intimate encounter with the tire wall. Probably the least fun I've had at
