Ariel Atom w/ Supercharger (400+ bhp) Launch control + afterburn !! - 1080p HD
During the Grand Prix of Middelharnis I have recorded this amazing Ariel
Atom. It is based on a normal Ariel Atom, but this one is fitted with a
Rotrex Supercharger. The engine is
coming from a Honda 2.0L Type R. This gives the Ariel Atom more then 400
bhp! As you can see in this video, the Exhaust sound is more louder and it even gives
the car an afterburn.

Ariel Atom V8 vs 600bhp rallycross Citroen DS3 vs BMW HP4 superbike drag race - autocar.co.uk
Which is faster? An Ariel Atom V8
track day toy, BMW HP4 superbike or a rallycross Citroen DS3 with 600bhp?
SUBSCRIBE to Autocar:
Here we have three completely different ways of going extremely quickly in
a straight line. Time for a drag race then. So what are the contenders?
There's the one-wheel drive BMW HP4 superbike, which arguably requires the
most skill to extract speed from but has a ludicrous 757bhp/tonne
power-to-weight ratio. Then there's the two-wheel drive Ariel Atom V8 with
748bhp/tonne and the Citroen DS3 Rallycross car with only 577bhp/tonne but
all-important four-wheel drive. Oh, and did we mention it's wet?

Can a supercar beat a superbike? Can a Audi A1 outrun a Nissan GT-R on a

pitches the giants of the performance car world against each other to
deliver the all-important verdict.

buggy build 08-09
Thanks for watching my video and commenting! I saw alot of questions about
the build so I´ll go though a few things here.
-Alot of people ask for some kind of plans for the frame. The frame was
built without a plan becouse there are none. Everything was made to fit the
components that we had, like the powerplant, a tall guy like me (over
1,90m) or other parts of the suspention. If you want to build something
like this, you wont come far with plans. You have to have all of this in
your head and work with everything that you have.
-The engine is from a Kawasaki GPX 750R. Quite an old bike, but its more
then good enough for the buggy. It has 100hp and runs fine. Just the Exhaust is not the right dimentions
becouse to that time, I didnt realy know alot about that kind of stuff.
-The Diff is out of an old BMW. We fitted a Chainwheel to it so we could
drive it with a chain.
-The front brakes are out of a Porsche (320mm) with Calipers from an early
