2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 | First Drive Review | ZigWheels
For variant-wise pricing, specifications and more details go to http://bit.ly/2ovyob9 The CLA is Mercedes-Benz’s entry-level sedan and acts as sort of a gateway model into the Mercedes family. Now, just under 2 years since the car was first introduced in India, it’s here in its updated avatar. The changes aren’t too extensive since this is a mid-life refresh and not an entirely new model. On the outside, the CLA sports a mildly updated front bumper with a chrome underline and larger airdam, while the old bi-xenon headlights have been swapped for a set of LED units. The LED tail lights get reworked internals too while the chrome tipped rectangular tailpipes now sit flush in the tweaked rear bumper. Inside, the free-standing infotainment display is now a larger, 8’’ unit and gets both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The instrument cluster gets a black backdrop instead of white, while the central panel houses the new Dynamic Select button, Mercedes’ terminology for its drive mode selector, which can be used to tweak the steering and powertrain. Speaking of which, the car gets no mechanical changes and gets the same 2.1-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol engines. We’ve taken the petrol for a spin to see if the refreshed CLA makes a good case to be your first Mercedes.
