Chevy's revised five-seat crossover (CUV) shake up the field?
With segment topping highway gas mileage, the redesigned 2010 Chevy Equinox
goes to battle in the crowded field of five-passenger crossovers. A
car-like and quiet ride along with a roomy and smartly-designed interior
makes the 2010 Equinox a worthy contender for families swapping out of
Sparco R100 After Market Seat Install / Review - Ain't Fuelin' Honda Civic Build
This video covers the installation a set of Sparco R100 bucket seats in our
1999 Honda Civic project car (a.k.a.: Slambo). We thought about using late
model Honda or Acura seats from the salvage yard, but decided to go with a
fresh set of R100s, instead.
The R100s are the most affordable seat in Sparco's street line up. They're
pretty basic, but have good lines.
Changing the seats is one of the most dramatic changes you can make to the
interior your car. The '99 Civic was an easy swap, because the OEM seats do
not have integrated air bags.
The install portion of the video was shot in July 2014. The second part was
shot on New Year's Day, 2015

Ford GT - Inside Scoop @ NAIAS 2015
The Ford GT stole the headlines at NAIAS 2015. I tripped into a cool little
story while hanging out in the Ford Booth during media days.
I got to the show just as the Ford press conference was starting (we were
delayed because of the snow) and was lucky to find a spot to shoot from on
the side of Joe Louis arena. Everything was shot handheld, so please excuse
the shaky cam. :)
This video features:
Mark Fields, CEO
William Clay Ford, Executive Chairman
Dave Pericak, Director Ford Performance
Raj Nair, Group VP / CTO
I was fortunate to schedule ten minutes with Dave Pericak, then a bit later
I tripped into Mark Fields and Raj Nair while they were in the midst of a
photo opp. While I did not have the chance to chat with Mark, I did spend a
bit of time chatting off-camera with Raj.
What would be better than a 600HP EcoBoost V6 Ford GT running on 93 octane premium
gasoline? How about 750HP running on 103 octane renewable cellulosic E85
Ford Motor Company paid for my travel and accommodations at the three day
NAIAS Digital Summit in Detroit. I was not compensated in any other manner
for my time. My opinions posted here are my own.

2013 Chevy Equinox v Ford Explorer v Jeep Grand Cherokee Off-Road Mashup AWD Tech Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Chevrolet Equinox and the Ford
Explorer and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Overland don't have a lot in
common. However all three of these vehicle have a very different approach
to powering all four wheels, in other words, they all have one form or
another of all-wheel-drive and terrain management technology. We thought it
would be interesting, informative and fun to try these three very different
AWD vehicles off-road in a real world test to see which one can best handle
our Colorado Mountain off-road terrain. In this battle of 4X4 people
haulers we take all three vehicles up our standard rugged Colorado trail to
see which one can make it all the way to the top. Check out another fun and
real world TFLcar Mashup test as we get wet, muddy and rocky in this
off-road AWD technology comparison and review.
