2007-2012 Yukon Denali Rear Door Lock Actuator Replacement
Rear door lock actuator replacement done on a 2009 GMC Yukon Denali. This process should be identical for Silverado, Avalanche, Yukon, Escalade, and Denali vehicles, years 2007 through 2012. I purchased via GM Parts Direct, supply your VIN to verify your parts. The US made vs Mexico made vehicles have different parts. I paid about $100 for each actuator, and the dealer quoted near to $200. Dealer quoted 1.5 hours labor per door, it took me about 25 minutes. Tools needed: -T30 Torx Bit -10mm Socket -6 to 8 inch socket extension -Needle Nose pliers -Small flat head screwdriver -Optional - plastic putty knife (for prying off door panel)
