This was my 1998 Supercharged Lincoln Mark VIII on 40lb 18" wheels, street tires, with 3.08 gears and an open diff. Not exactly setup for drag racing but it mustered a 14.17. It was otherwise stock with a Novi 1000 kit from a 2001 Cobra. This was taken at Orlando Speed World. Thank you Dana for the commentary haha.

1996 Lincoln Mark VIII Seafoam Treatment
I seafoamed my 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII today. I haven't done it in a while
and it shows. There was a lot of smoke this time. The white '97 Mark VIII
LSC next to it is much cleaner. The last time I seafoamed it, there was
very little smoke. According to the descriptions on the can, Seafoam is
supposed to break up carbon deposits and clean the induction system,
valves, tops of pistons, etc. It is also supposed to get rid of the rotten
egg smell associated with clogged catalytic converters. Fortunately, my
cats are still in pretty good shape. I don't know if Seafoam really works,
but I know my engine runs smoother after a treatment. And it sure is fun to
Note: Eventually, I'm going to make a more detailed step-by-step video with
someone else holding the camera. This was obviously done very quickly. Next
time, I plan to use 3 bottles. One for the crankcase, one for the intake,
and one for the gas tank. Now, you've got to remember to change your oil
IMMEDIATELY after seafoaming your crankcase. Or else the stuff will destroy
your seals and gaskets. Running it through the oil is like high performance
Motor Flush. It cleans the crap outta your engine block.

Lincoln Mark VIII Racing @ Orlando Speedworld
Ahhh, the days of being 17......
Anyway this is video of me racing at OSW before the Mark VIII was
supercharged. The 300C I didn't realize at the time was an SRT-8 and was
expecting that one to be pretty even. The Mark VIII was stock other than Exhaust.

1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC
This has a Intech 4.6L 32 Valve DOHC V8 making 290 HP while paired to a 4
Speed Auto. It's essentially a Cobra V8 & also the same engine from my 2002
Continental only in my car it's detuned & in FWD.
This model began in 1993 until the Final year made in 1998. The Mark is
known to be the first Production Vehicle to offer HID ( High Intensity
Discharge ) Headlamps.
The Marks biggest issue was with the 4 wheel Air Ride suspension which was
prone to early failure & it is a costly repair. Many owners resorted to
Coil Spring conversion but it really killed the Marks Smooth ride.
Twin turbo lincoln vs procharged notchback mustang
Just some fooling around after work. We knew what the outcome would be
since he trapped a lot better than me. Still trying to figure out movie
maker. Tried to slow down the credits but obviously that didn't work too
Best Mark VIII run
This is the best run so far in my Mark VIII. 13.5525. I actually lost
this race literally by a few inches, the Mustang in the other lane ran a
13.5545 but was .07 seconds faster
off the light.
