so after my last video the car ran good for about 2 weeks. long story
short, the tune that my last shop did set my motor up for detonation so
cylinder #1 dropped a significant amount of compression. the other 3 did as
well but not to such a degree.
it took me around 7-8 months to gather enough money to go with forged
internals rather than OEM.
i was on the verge of purchasing all the parts when i came across what i
thought was too good to be true.
someone in north carolina had a nice 1996 nissan 240se shell and fully
built block for sale. he was asking right around what it would of cost me
to rebuild my motor and considering i was getting a entire car and many
aftermarket parts with it, it was a no-brainer for me... I WAS SOLD!
here are SOME of the parts included with the 1996 240 shell:

What its really like: SR20det 240SX
This kind of thing happens regularly. Something falling off, melting or
breaking I tried to give you a first hand experience of Sr20det S13
ownership. Worth every minute so far though!
