Making your V6 truck sound the best
A comparison of my old *Flowmaster Single chamber race series mufflers* and my current *Flowmaster OUTLAW mufflers*. The video doesn't do complete justice for either, around 3 1/2-4 RPM and above the Race series got very raspy and high (sounding more like a V6). The OUTLAWS keep their tone very well at even 4-5 RPM and have an awesome sound. The race series rumbled much different at idle and 2-3 RPM has a smooth tone, but after that sounded a little to raspy and got high pitched. The OUTLAWS all around sound fantastic and probably the most close your going to get to a V8.





Flowmaster Super 50's: GMC Sierra 4.3 Vortec
This is a comparison of the stock Exhaust on my 1999 GMC Sierra Z71 to putting a Flowmaster Super 50 muffler on it. It has the 4.3 liter Vortec V6 and the muffler is the only modification I've made to the Exhaust. Sorry for the truck missing in the video and the bad audio quality. It needs a little injector cleaner. Love the super 50's! Not too loud and basically no noise when at cruising speeds. Great classic tone and mellow sound, which is exactly what I was looking for. thrush welded muffler
cheap Exhaust job i did on my '93 gmc sierra 4.3L. Parts used: a thrush welded muffler 2.25" center inlet/dual outlet($32 from Summit), 10' of 2.25" aluminized Exhaust pipe(about $17), one Exhaust clamp(about $3), one universal hanger ($5), 2' of 3.00" pipe used for tips($4). $61 total. the welder and Exhaust bending machine sure come in handy.





1991 GMC Sonoma Syclone STK # 1194
Extremely rare 1991 GMC Syclone with only 37,465 original miles! Back in '91 these trucks were tested to be faster than the Corvette ZR1, Porsche, or Viper thanks to AWD and a 4.3L turbo-charged engine. This Syclone is #1,941 out only 2,995 total ever produced. Syclones were built in 1991 only. This beautiful example is only a two owner truck and is in excellent condition. It comes with tons of original documentation such as a framed window sticker, build sheet, all Syclone promotional items, and many receipts from over the years. It has never been wrecked or had any paint work and the Carfax is 100% clean. The truck has some tasteful upgrades such a Baer four wheels disc brakes, computer controller, Exhaust, and a larger Intercooler. The truck has never been raced and its original 4.3L engine is still running strong and has never been heavily modified or rebuilt like so many Syclones out there. We have all the original parts to put the truck back to stock if desired. Both previous owner's of the truck were older gentlemen who kept every part that was taken off this truck. 4.3L flowmaster 40 exhaust
I just installed the flowmaster 40 series on my 4.3L 1995 c1500 W/T. single in, single out flowmaster 40 with new tailpipe and stainless steel tip. stock 4.3L. stock cat. stock everything but muffler. 2.5" into cat, 2.25" in and out of muffler and all the way back to tip. sorry for bad video quality and putting computer so close to the tip. also i didn't rev it that high at all - barely tapped it, but since the camera was so close it might sound raspy. it's just the camera. you can't really hear it in the video but she sounds like a v8 at idle. my 85 k10 (350ci) sounds just as good swear to God. anyway its hard to hear on the video but i'm very very happy with the flowmaster 40 on the 4.3L vortec. ****truck now has magnaflow hi-flow cat, which isn't in this video.

Just got it done today, i got a glass pack after the cat with a y pipe to 2 stainless still tips. this truck is a work in progress that gets drove everyday.

4.3L Vortec V6 with Flowmaster Outlaw - Startup, Flyby, General Accel, Rev.
I've got a 1999 GMC Sierra StepSide with the 4.3L Vortec V6 and have been searching for the right way to make it sound like a V8. Despite the fact that it is missing 2 cylinders, the Dumped Flowmaster OUTLAW race muffler really is as close as anyone is going to get. the Exhaust and intake system is totally stock except for this muffler. It sounds nasty like a V8 especially at idle and at 70 mph on the freeway 4th gear hammer down 2k rpm sounds sick. Will be getting video of that soon when i get my new camera. Here are some 'flyby' shots, really just driving in my neighbor hood but i will be getting a new full HD camera shortly and there will be better vids so this is only part one, please subscribe for part 2 and thanks for watching!

98 Blazer 4.3 Magnaflow
1998 Chevrolet Blazer 4.3 V6 Magnaflow muffler and magnaflow high-flow catalytic converter. Stock 2.25" piping has been replaced with larger 2.5" pipe. Unfortunately, I don't know the model numbers of any of the parts. I can get a picture of the cat or muffler if someone really wants and thinks they can find out what type it is.
