F-Body LT1 Engine drop guide
This is my 7th time doing this total from the bottom, second time for this car. Reason I believe the bottom is better because of you being able to reinstall the engine with basically everything connected. "Special" tool list -Cherry picker -Torx socket -Fuel line disconnect tool -Furniture dollies -Hardcore ratchet strap -Maybe spare wheels or your front wheels -Possibly tall jack standsdrfdf Safely jack and support the car. This is just a guide so don't blame me for anything you do. 1. Battery 2. Radiator Intake/Elbow/Condenser line 3. Remove PCM and unplug harness from inside 4. Route the harness on top of the manifold. 5. Disconnect engine to frame grounds. 6. Remove AC line that leads to the compressor 7. Unbolt power steering reservoir and route it out of the way to drop 8. Disconnect LF and RF brake lines on the ABS block 9. Unbolt the steering shaft and disconnect 10. Remove fuel lines/vacuum fitting 11. Remove throttle cable/cruise 12. Unbolt the sway bar from the frame (leave connected to tie rod ends) 13. Disconnect speed sensors in the wheel well 14. Remove Driveshaft 15. Remove front part of torque arm 16. Remove Exhaust/y-pipe or whatever you have. 17. (A4) Remove shift cable (M6) Disconnect slave cylinder/shifter 18. Unbolt Transmission crossmember (support if necessary) 19. Place furniture dolly(s) underneath the engine/trans 20. Lower jack stands and remove 6 engine K member bolts 21. Unbolt top 4 strut tower bolts/nuts 22. Choose how you want to lift the car (around intake holes or radiator support) 23. Slowly lift the car and watch for parts still conncected and parts that get caught such as the brake lines, power steering and possibly something you forgot to do. 24. If necessary support the car once its lifted enough to slide the engine out. Get the engine lift out of the way and pull the engine out. Be careful and have fun. I know I'm breathing hard I'm fat lol.

► 2014 Chevrolet Corvette PRODUCTION
owling Green Assembly has produced approximately 1,000 Corvette Stingrays for customer deliveries. Most of these vehicles are expected to be delivered to dealers within the next few weeks. To expedite delivery, vehicles may be shipped out of build sequence, which is a normal part of any new vehicle launch. The Bowling Green facility underwent a $131-million upgrade to support production of the Corvette Stingray, including approximately $52 million for a new body shop to manufacture the car's all-new aluminum frame in-house for the first time. The lightweight aluminum frame is the foundation for the most powerful standard Corvette ever, with an SAE-certified 455 horsepower (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft of torque (624 Nm) -- and 460 horsepower (343 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) with the available performance Exhaust system. It is also the most capable standard Corvette ever, with Z51-equipped models able to sprint from 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds, run the quarter-mile in 12 seconds at 119 mph, achieve 1.03g in cornering grip and stop from 60 mph in 107 feet. Complementing its performance capability with efficiency, the Corvette Stingray delivers the best fuel economy of any sports car on the market -- an EPA-estimated 17 mpg in city driving and 29 mpg on the highway. No other car offers more than 455 horsepower and greater than 29 mpg on the highway. The 2014 Corvette Stingray is the seventh generation of the sports car, which has been built exclusively at the Bowling Green plant since June 1981. Pricing for the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe starts at $51,995 including destination. The Convertible is priced at $56,995 including destination. Production of the Stingray Convertible will begin by the end of this year. ► If you love cars, you should subscribe now to YouCar's channel: http://urlz.fr/lEd Go ahead, it's free! All the Best.

Dyno-Tuning the Draguar's 696 Horsepower Supercharged Small Block Chevy! - HOT ROD Unlimited Ep. 35
It's time for motor mayhem! On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited we head to Westech Performance Group with Mike Finnegan to Dyno-tune a new engine for the Draguar, the 1974 Jaguar XJ12 with a small-block Chevy under the hood that he and Freiburger bought for $1,000 and installed a Supercharger onto in a parking lot during episode 7 of Roadkill. After the Supercharger upgrade the guys road-tripped the dilapidated car from San Francisco to Sacramento for a drag race. With the summertime air temps hovering around 113 degrees, the worn out 350 overheated and Freiburger only managed to run a 15.30 ¼ mile ET at Sacramento Raceway. Looking for redemption, Freiburger ordered a new 383ci long block from Blueprint Engines, a definite upgrade over the old powerplant. Though the new longblock is only rated to 600hp it features forged pistons and rods and a forged crankshaft, which means that the guys can turn up the Boost and make double the power of the old engine. The engine effortlessly made 650hp with 91 octane fuel in the tank but Finnegan was feelin' froggy so he added 118 octane race fuel and upped the Boost to 15 psi in an attempt to make 700hp with the 383. Did the engine leave the Dyno shop in one piece? Check out the video to see! The engine we used is a BluePrint Engines' 383 Long Block designed for power adders: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mll-bp38316ct1 HOT ROD Unlimited appears every other Friday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c... 1988 Monte Carlo SS, 57K, Lt1 engine, T-tops, 350, Super Sport
FOR SALE OR TRADE, NO JUNK Pro's - 1988 Monte Carlo - Super Sport. 57,000 original miles, clean title. The interior is in excellent shape for the year. No damage on the seats or anything. A TRUE SURVIVOR. Fully loaded, never smoked in, the ashtray is mint. Original Tape Player, everything works great. Power everything and it all works great. No A/C though because of the Engine Conversion. It has T-tops, very rare option for 1988 since they only came equipped in 5% of the cars. Body and under body are rust free, car is and has always been undercoated. I have a brand new alarm system for the car, and remote starter setup. It sits up nice and is very stiff, no play at all. It is a low mileage car and you can tell by driving it. May be interested in trading for another vehicle. Engine and Trans - The engine is out of a 1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6. It has been completely rebuilt and re-gasket-ed last year. I have put 9,000 miles on the new engine with zero issues. They replaced the original CAST heads with Aluminum Corvette Heads off a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport., they were also Ported and Polished. Mid sized CAM for emission purposes. 373 Posi, and Automatic WS-6 trans, 3 speed with Overdrive. All the relays, wiring, and computer components have been installed onto the Monte's Shell. It is very organized and detailed under the hood. New rod bearings, high pressure oil pump, valves, push rods, lifters, etc. The car runs great and Passes Emissions (E-check) in Cleveland,i have the papers. So it can be plated the day you buy it, not like most i see on Craigslist. People freak out when they see me open this hood, you just do not expect such a Awesome Engine. It has the stock Super Sport Exhaust setup so it is pretty quiet, Ultimate Sleeper Car. It pulls very hard at any speed, very quick. The LT-1 Dyno's at 323 Hp, not like the stock 180 hp 305 it came with. I have over $9,000.00 invested into this SS. Dreams are not cheap, Trust me!!! These LT-1 swaps are impossible to get a hold of, especially installed into a last year, low mileage, T-top Super Sport. When is the last time you seen one???? probably will never see one again so Act Now BEFORE IT IS GONE???? Lol. $6,500.00 FIRM. You cannot build or buy one Cheaper!!! I have seen a lot of interest in this car, now show me the money!!! Con's - The re-paint is starting to show its age, but the body is rust and dent free. Paint is still very nice though just not perfect. The Exhaust has a very minor leak. Other than that you will love this car. May trade for a newer suv, car, or truck, lmk what you have. Corvette Sinkhole Adventure in a 1975 Stingray! - Roadkill Ep. 27
Chevy runs deep! This time Freiburger and Finnegan find out just how deep as they visit the infamous sinkhole that opened up inside the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. To do it Roadkill style, the guys find the worst Corvette they can buy, get it running after sitting for six years, break auto parts, experience gators firsthand, and visit the Corvette assembly plant. Finally, they try and convince the Corvette Museum to let them leave their '75 Stingray behind......inside the sinkhole.
