1968 Camaro Pro Street ORD#93
For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Street. This beast of a vehicle originally started life as a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, owned by the same individual since 1978 this pro street has had 36 years of fine tuning and attention to quality paid to it. Everything on this Camaro has been done correctly to allow this bad boy to bite just as hard as it barks. Frame members, 24 point roll cage, and rear coil over suspensions all professionally built by Chassis Engineering. Under the custom 1 piece fiberglass flip up hood lays a very stout Chevy 454CID with only 500 miles on it since the rebuild. Inside the 454 you’ll find a Comp Cams Powermax Hydraulic featuring 296 intake 306 Exhaust duration pushing 1:7 rollers under custom aluminum high top valve covers. Powermaxx 9000x high torque starter, Hedman long tubes and custom Exhaust are other features of this quality engine. The fuel system hasn’t been overlooked either, the Mallory Comp Pump fuel pump in the rear feeds a matched Mallory 2 port fuel pressure regulator. Power and ignition are complete with 4ot wire running from the batteries to the custom made fuse panel. MSD blaster coil and ignition keep everything firing on all cylinders. Behind this behemoth of an engine stands the 700R4 transmission with 3800 stall converter. The rear end is the legendary Ford 9” housing a beefy low 4:56 Richmond differential. Strange Engineering axles are in place to put all this power out to the massive 16x18 Weld Racing wheels wrapped up in Mickey Thompson 31x18.00R16 Sportsman SR tires. The exterior of this car is bathed in a great looking Caracas Red paint job and black SS Stripes. Inside the vehicle you’ll find the attention to safety to be just as on par with performance. 24 point Chassis engineering roll cage and RJS seatbelts make sure that you are prepared for the worst. The interior was left minimalistic with just the gages and switches you need mounted above the custom drive shaft tunnel. This is the Camaro for the enthusiast looking for a no holds barred pro street beast. Best of all it’s new owner will be the first to take it to a track, that’s right this demon has been driving on docile streets its whole life. Options include 454CID BB Chevy, 700R4 Auto Transmission, Racing Wheels, Racing Tires, Ford 9” Rear end, 24pt roll cage, Coil over shocks, Strange Axles, For more information please call our Orlando showroom at (407)771-2000.
