Limit Pushing - 2007 Saturn Aura XR 0-60 Test

This is just one of the many cases of too much power in a FWD car. It was so hard to get traction, but it all worked out on the 4th try. The Saturn Aura: The Saturn Aura was introduced in 2005 for the 2006 model year to replace the Saturn L-Series. Saturn had never intended to use the Aura Concept name for production, but the name ended up sticking as a result of its popularity. The Aura's design was produced under several different names including the Fiat Croma, the Cadillac BLS, the Chevrolet Malibu, the Pontiac G6, the Opel Insignia, the Opel Signum, and the Opel Vectra, Saab 9-3. The Aura marked the first time since the 70's that GM's German division Opel had products sold in the United States. The XR trim of the Aura utilized the concept's 252 hp 3.6 L V6. The XE trim made use of a 3.5 L V6 which makes 219 hp. An eco minded trim named the Greenline uses a hybrid 164 hp 2.4 L I4. The Aura was discontinued after the 2009 model year due to the Saturn division's termination by GM.
