2014 Honda Crosstour 3.5L V-6 Test Drive & CUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/crosstour/?id=32972 The Honda Crosstour made its debut as a 2012 model and is essentially the hatchback wagon version of a Honda Accord. Now we get a revised version that includes a facelift on the outside, updates to the interior, upgraded technology, and a new Earth Dreams engine that is more fuel efficient and more powerful. The 2014 Honda Crosstour has a base price of $27,230. With over 20 models sold by Honda here in the U.S.; it's hard to understand why this vehicle exists But as sales have shown, there is a niche for this vehicle in the CUV segment. The Honda Crosstour is a great choices for a number of different car buyers including: families, couples with young children, and even retired people where an Accord or Camry isn't quite enough as they need that extra space out back but do not necessarily want to invest in an SUV or large CUV. Hence the Crosstour is the perfect vehicle. For the first few years of its existence, the Crosstour did not compete very well with other vehicles in this segment like the Toyota Venza or the Subaru Outback. But Honda has given this car a new lease on life with beefier looks, luxurious interior, and upgraded powerplant. The result is improved sales and a car that meets the needs of more people, perfectly. Under the hood lives an Earth Dreams V-6 engine that includes Variable Valve Timing and Variable Cylinder Management. The 3.5 liter V-6 engine makes 278 horsepower and 252 lb-ft. of torque. Power is put down through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. There is also a less powerful 4-cylinder that averages a little bit better fuel economy. On the inside, the Crosstour has a very nice design. There are 2 screen located in the center console, one controls the navigation and while the other is for the radio. The 2014 Honda Crosstour is a good buy if need extra cargo space along with the reliability of a Honda. Battle of the Crossover SUV's: Honda v Mazda v Toyota
LEARN MORE ABOUT CROSSOVERS: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=128367?tid=e dmunds.il.home.photopanel..3.* We keep a couple seven-passenger crossover SUVs in our long-term test fleet and they're indispensable for carting around kids, terriers and lawn furniture. Of course, we still crack the obvious jokes. We'll tell you that these are minivans with hinged doors, SUVs trail-rated for the Starbucks drive-thru, tall wagons that think they're too good to be called tall wagons. But there's nothing superficial or irrational about crossover SUVs like the 2009 Honda Pilot, 2008 Mazda CX-9 or 2008 Toyota Highlander. All three make good on the crossover promise of a vast interior, easy maneuverability and decent fuel economy. Maybe you're aghast that anyone would need three rows of seating, but maybe you've never tried to cram three toddlers in Britax car seats into a Honda Accord. We have. You need that third row. But if that third row were in a minivan, you might find yourself filling a prescription for antidepressants. This leaves you to consider a crossover SUV of medium-to-large proportions. Just about any current-day crossover will accomplish the basics, but the diversity of this vehicle genre might catch you off guard. Even though the 2009 Honda Pilot, 2008 Mazda CX-9 and 2008 Toyota Highlander seem to match one another airbag for airbag, their personalities are so different that you can't drive them without taking sides.

2014 Honda CROSSTOUR REVIEW AND TEST DRIVE | Herb Chambers Honda
http://www.herbchambershondaofseekonk.com Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk 185 Taunton Avenue RT44 Seekonk, MA 02771 (508)336-7100 The Honda Crosstour was introduced for 2011 as an offshoot of the Accord, but then became a model of its own. It's been left behind by the Accord, which began a new generation for the 2013 model year, while the Crosstour continues to ride on the old Accord's platform, which dates back to 2008. However, the 2013 Crosstour received extensive updates to the styling and interior that mimicked the new Accord. Nothing has changed for the 2014 model year. Honda Accord Sedan 2010 Video Tour
http://carforallnet.blogspot.com/2010/03/honda-accord-sedan-2010.html The Honda Accord Sedan 2010 is a series of mid-size automobiles manufactured by Honda since 1976, and sold in the majority of automotive markets throughout the world. In 1982, the Accord which has always been manufactured in Sayama, Japan became the first Japanese car to be produced in the United States when production commenced in Marysville, Ohio at Honda's Marysville Auto Plant. In addition, the Accord is, or has been, produced in Nelson, New Zealand Swindon, England, Guangzhou, China and Ayutthaya, Thailand. The Accord has achieved considerable success, especially in the United States, where it was the best-selling Japanese car for fifteen years (1982-97), topping its class in sales in 1991 and 2001, with around ten million vehicles sold. Numerous tests, past and present count the Accord as one of the world's most reliable vehicles. Since initiation, Honda has offered several different body styles and versions of the Accord, and often vehicles marketed under the Accord Sedan 2010 nameplate concurrently in different regions differ quite substantially. It debuted in 1976 as a compact hatchback, though this style only lasted through the 1980s, as the lineup was expanded to include a sedan, coupe, and wagon. By the Accord's sixth generation in the 1990s, it evolved into an intermediate vehicle, with one basic platform but with different bodies and proportions to increase its competitiveness against its rivals in different international markets. For the current generation of the Accord released for the North American market in 2008, Honda again has chosen to move the model further upscale and increase its size. This pushed the Honda Accord 2010 sedan from the upper limit of what the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines as a mid-size car to just above the lower limit of a full-size car, with the coupe still rated as a mid-size car. Honda Accord Sedan 2010 Ingeniously simple. Yet overflowing with luxury and technological creativity. All that and more in the Accord Sedan. Dashing * Commanding full-size sedan presence * High-Performance look and feel * Wide-opening doors for ease of entry and exit Powerful * Available 271-hp V-6 Engine * Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) offers both brisk acceleration and fuel efficiency (EX and above) * Choice of 5-Speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission Plush * Available navigation system * Bluetooth HandsFreeLink capability (EX-L) * Dual-zone automatic climate control (EX-L) The Honda Accord Sedan has been styled to attract more than just a passing glance. Its sharp lines and powerful stance excites the senses from any angle. Artful Look close. The Accords form is a study in modern design. And available 17-inch wheels will surely impress. Outside In Wide-opening doors invite you to step inside. And the one-touch power moonroof (EX and above) couldn't be any easier. Anything but Ordinary No stone has been left unturned. Thats because the details make all the difference. Take a look at the Accords brilliantly finished Exhaust and chrome door handles (V-6). Exquisite attention to fit and finish set the Accord apart from the average sedan. With a large and luxurious interior, the Accord Sedan provides the comfort you deserve. Comfort In the Accord's case, bigger is better. It means more comfort and more room for those Honda details, like available leather-trimmed seats. The driver's seat has 10-way power adjustment including power lumbar support (EX and above) to fine tune a perfect fit. Rear passengers enjoy ample room conveniences like a fold-down center armrest and a Rear HVAC Vent to keep them cool. Convenient Bluetooth HandsFreeLink enables you to make hands-free calls with many compatible phones, and comes included with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation Systemâ„¢[1] (and in EX-L models without the Navigation System).
