2001 Acura/Honda GSR Radiator Replacement, Real Time -EricTheCarGuy
I thought I would try something a little different with this one and do the
video in real time. As it often happens, things didn't quite go as planned
because I was given the wrong radiator. Don't be too mad at my parts guy
though, it's an easy mistake to make. In fact, I do show why the mistake
was made and how to deal with it if you run into the same problem. This put
a slight wrinkle in my plans but in the end the video was shot in real time
for the most part. Honestly, it seemed kinda boring at first so I added my
first narration. It's almost like a directors commentary. In fact, it kinda
gives me an idea. I'll get back to you on that. For now, here's some of
those links I mentioned.

Replacing a Thermostat - Acura Integra
How to replace a thermostat on an Acura Integra. In this video I swap out a
broken thermostat for a new one on my 1999 Acura Integra LS. This is the
B18B1 engine, but this procedure should be very similar for most 4 cylinder
Honda engines around this time frame.
Here's another video on ensuring that the cooling system doesn't have any

Rare 1997 Acura Integra GSR Restoration & Takoff
1997 Acura Integra GS-R GSR Restoration and Highlights
Created: July 2012
I found this rare gem an hour out from where I live and what a car it was!
It was girl owned! Wow this made the car that much better! Not trying to
bash on guys but some girls really maintain their cars right! Yes the body
wasn't all perfect but it's a '97 and girls can't do everything! Also I
took care of all of that :) But if you drive this car that is all you need
to do and you will make sure you don't let this one slip away from you.
Super well maintained mechanically speaking. Transmission was super smooth,
clutch felt like new! Wow what a joy it was driving this beast around! It
seriously takes you back to '97 that's how well it was maintained! Oh and
when you hear and feel VTEC you will never want to step out of the car
I almost let this slip away when two others came out to see the car,
luckily they only had $2,500 which was the asking price and I was much more
prepared then that! I was just like so long suckers!
The GS-R is truly one of my top 5 favorite JDM cars.
Yes this is a '97 so it didn't have the upgraded front clip and rear
bumper. But I still loved everything about it! It also didnt come with
leather like the 98-01 GSR but the cloth actually feels much better. It's
soft and cozy, it doesn't heat up or get really cold and most importantly
it doesn't wear and crack like most leather seats on the GSR's.
