Camaro SS vs Turbo Civic
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING! THANKS! ▼Click "Show More"▼ This video was shot early on in 2008. Yes, he's a friend of mine. The acting (if you can call it that) is us just messing around before battery on the camera died. It was all done on the spot - no script - and the racing was both cars going all out 100%. The Camaro has been 11.5's@122. Not the fastest car on the road (by far), but enough to hold it's own with most local cars. For those in complete & utter denial - doubting that the Civic was actually turbo'd - here is the same car with a duck call attached to the blow-off valve as a joke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykRIp2GtYoA Enjoy!! =)

Junkyard Turbo Swap! Chevy-Powered 1971 Datsun 240Z Autocross Thrash - Roadkill Ep. 26
What do you get when you cross a rusted 1971 Datsun 240Z with a Chevy 4.3L V6 and a turbo from a Ford Power Stroke Diesel? The Rotsun! During Roadkill Episode 25, Freiburger and Finnegan revived the Rotsun expecting it to dominate in the 9-car autocross showdown of previous Roadkill project cars. It also needed to beat a 2014 Kia Rio 5, but failed to do so with the Rotsun shamefully breaking down before completing a decent lap. So in this episode: revenge. After swapping in the mismatched turbo and making nearly 400 rear-wheel horsepower, the guys head to the autocross at the Goodguys 5th Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona and mingle with fans on their way to a rematch with that dastardly Kia. Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/RoadkillShow, http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://facebook.com/hotrodmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/hotrodmagazine Google+ - https://plus.google.com/1018679678590... Dave Kaspers 10.55 Neon SRT4
If you are interested in purchasing any of the parts used in this build please email us at Realtuned@yahoo.com or visit us at www.facebook.com/realtuned Dave Kasper had us build/tune/track prep this NSRT4 for him. Dave wanted it to go 10.99 but I told him it would go mid 10s and it did just that. Drove the car to the track, slapped on the slicks and ran a mid 10 on the 3rd pass. Dave was more then happy with that so we packed up and drove the car back home. We also were able to put the car on the scales and she was 3010lbs with driver for those wondering. Full interior, power steering, radio ...zero weight redux other than no A/C. First run of 11.4 was on WG spring. Second run was 23psi peak and 3rd run was 28.1 peak [mainly 27psi]. 110 octane was used.
