1979 Ford Bronco Hill Climb w/Flop
Making a new trail I like to call the "mini tank trap" in my 79' Ford Bronco. I'm running 15x38.5x15 Boggers, 6" lift, Mile Marker 12k winch and a Detroit locker in the rear.
Ford Bronco on the Rock Course
1 year at the Jeep Fest held at Bass Pro Shops. I was told that a(or my) Bronco couldnt do the rock course that was strictly set up for jeeps with extremely modified suspension. Well my truck at the time only had 35" tires a 3" body lift and a 6" suspension lift. I think i did pretty well.

1979 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4
I thought you'd like a look at thie 1979 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. This low mileage original is powered by a 400M backed by a C6 automatic. It's sure is looking tough in that black paint. 1979 F150 "Unveiling" Video
This is the unveiling video of the 1979 F150, which went under the restoration project in 2006. This truck has been in the family since new, purchased in March 1979 by my father. He and I are the ones who done the restoration on the truck. In this video the truck is not 100% finished by close enough to complete the video. (04/11/09)
1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT Startup & Drive
Driving the 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT with the durable 351M (Cleveland) V8 and C6 automatic transmission. I incorrectly mentioned in the video that the transmission was a Borg-Warner...it's a C6 3-speed auto with a Borg-Warner 4-wheel-drive transfer case. I have not had to use the 4-wheel drive, but it is functional with high and low ranges, and like other period 4-wheel-drive systems, you have to manually lock and unlock the front hubs.
Even with over 130,000 miles, it still runs great and starts on the first crank. When I got it I had to replace the battery, headlight and taillight assemblies, windshield wipers, and repair the turn signal and reverse switches to get it on the road again. The taillights were difficult to find but LMC Truck took care of those. More work will be done to it in the near future to bring it to better condition than it is now, but it has been very well maintained and I really enjoy driving it. I wish new cars still had the personality this one has!
A couple of other things: I have the radio antenna, but took it off since it's too tall for my tiny garage, and the aftermarket radio will be gone as soon as I can find a vintage Ford replacement on eBay. It also came with a vintage Motorola CB radio which isn't shown, I put it in the glove box since I usually plug my iPod into the cigarette lighter.

Just got a new camcorder, so I decided to shoot a little video and see how it turned out. This is the 466 in the Bronco, ~12.5:1 compression, headwork, cam, all the good stuff. Trck has not been driven yet.
