2014 Chevrolet SS - WR TV POV Test Drive
Today we’re getting up close and personal with Chevrolet’s performance sedan, the SS. From a fundamental standpoint, the SS shares much its mechanicals with the gone but not forgotten Pontiac G8 GXP, a car which itself was largely derived from the Holden Commodore. Back in 2009 the G8 was heralded by many as “the poor man’s M5”, so considering the close lineage, the SS brings with it some high expectations. Power comes from a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 that makes 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque and sounds great while doing it. For 2014 a six-speed automatic gearbox is the only transmission available, though a Chevrolet rep has told us to expect an optional six-speed manual gearbox to be on the option list for 2015, along with the GM’s excellent Magnetic Ride Control suspension system. In the meantime we’re happy to make do with this model, which comes standard with a limited slip differential, Brembo front brakes, 19-inch forged wheels, MyLink navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, rear view camera and a host of safety features like Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Alert. With destination and gas guzzler tax, our option-less tester comes in at $45,770. http://www.windingroad.com/articles/reviews/wr-tv-2014-chevrolet-ss-tested- on-street-and-track/ Visit us at http://www.windingroad.com and http://www.windingroadracing.com 2014 Chevrolet SS Engine: V-8, 6.2 liters, 32v Output: 415 hp/415 lb-ft 0-60 MPH: 5.0 sec (est) Fuel Economy, City/Hwy: 14/21 Base Price: $43,475 Price as Tested: $45,770 On Sale: Now Wear headphones! 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT: 4 Guys In A Car Review
We're seeing these everywhere—Canadians love wagons and hatchbacks, right?—so it was only a matter of time before we piled in and took it for a spin. So yes, it's a nice little hatchback...but it appears as though with this car Hyundai is pricing it slightly more than the competition. Is that a deal breaker?

2013 Mazda3 vs Hyundai Elantra GT 0-60 MPH Performance Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Mazda3 and the Hyundai Elantra GT are both small economy cars with sporty looks and good fuel economy. Both cars have a hatchback for versatile room and both cars are front wheel drive. Both cars also come with 4 cylinder engines that sip fuel such luxury options like heated seats and the Mazda even has headlights that steer and blind spot detection. But of course we were immediately curious about which car is the fastest from 0-60 MPH. In this TFLcar Mashup performance review we find out if the Mazda or the Elantra has more zoom zoom.

2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Review : MPGomatic
MPGomatic.com puts a six-speed manual 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo to a grueling 500+ mile test drive. We switched things up a bit with this review, and have included a demo of the Blue Max and Eco-Coach features along with our usual 0-60 MPH and fuel economy testing. It's in HD, as well. :) Big screen and Big MPGs, woo hoo! The Hyundai Veloster turbo is equipped with a turbocharged 16-valve Dual-CVVT 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower and 195 pound feet of torque. The intercooled and gasoline direct-injected (GDI) four banger cranks out more than sixty HP and seventy pound feet of torque over the naturally-aspirated 2012 Veloster we tested earlier this year. A six-speed manual transmission is standard in the Veloster turbo, while a six-speed automatic is optional. 2013 Veloster turbo M/T MSRP: $23,950 Options: Ultimtate Package - $2,500 Carpeted Floor Mats - $95 Michelin Pilot Super Sport 215/40ZR18 Summer Tires - $1,200 Inland Freight and Handling - $775 MSRP including options: $26,520 More MPGomatic ... New Elantra GT Ride Along Test Drive Review
Ride along with me in the all new 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. This is the all new touring model for the Elanta and features some really cool features. One exclusive feature in this vehicle is a driver selectable steering mode where you can choose between Comfort, Standard and Sport steering modes. The handling, fuel economy and cargo capacity is great in this car.

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT Auto 0-60 MPH Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT can best be described as sportish. While is has all of the go fast parts that you'd except from GT car like 17 inch wheels and firmed up suspension, it is missing one vital ingredient to make it a truly sporty car...the powerful engine. With just 148 HP the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT doesn't have enough power to make it fast. Check out this first drive review as we put the latest member of the growing Elanta family to the test.
